Dr. Berg talks about the Mediterranean Diet or the so called “Heart Healthy” diet. This diet is composed of fruits, vegetables, olive oil, whole grain, red wine, moderate red meat, moderate fish and poultry and low fat dairy. There’s a study which includes 7,447 participants and a diet that is composed of three separate groups.
• Group 1: Mediterranean diet consume 4 tsp. olive oil
• Group 2: Mediterranean diet consume mixed nuts
• Group 3: Traditional low fat diet
