what’s up guys tomorrow’s a huge milestone this channel is turning one years old a year ago tomorrow I made my first youtube video recipe it was cringeworthy it was terrible the production value the production quality is horrible the recipe itself is actually not bad I’m sure a lot of you haven’t seen it if you want to see it I’ll put it in the video description below just brace yourself it’s nothing like the videos are today and that’s a great thing I’ve been reminiscing the past couple of days just how far this channel has come since then and all the skills that I’ve learned I’ve learned how to photograph a lot better in the beginning I was taking photos on my phone now I have a camera I learned how to edit a lot better I actually have editing software now and I learned how to build a website I had no idea how to do any of those things a year ago and Here I am a year later I just feel so much more accomplished I feel just fulfilled really and the community has grown so much in just six months even six months ago there’s 450 of you guys and now there’s over 5,000 it’s crazy and now you guys are commenting to each other and helping each other out which is awesome so I just want to take a moment to thank you guys thank you for liking my videos making my recipes tagging me on Instagram all that good stuff I love interacting with you guys I love getting to know you guys better so snapchat me some people already have been and that’s really cool I really really like talking to you guys and interacting with you guys so typically for a one year celebration you do a birthday cake recipe I know but we are just a week away from Thanksgiving so I thought let’s do something a little different and make this healthy protein pumpkin pie recipe it’s so good let’s get cooking start off by adding 1 in 3/4 of a cup or 420 grams of pure pumpkin to a large bowl and make sure your pumpkin is thick because if you use a watery thinner kind of pumpkin it just doesn’t turn out right next we’re gonna add in one and a half cups Port 355 milliliters of fat-free evaporated milk to our bowl followed by three egg whites and one whole egg we’re also going to add a half a cup or 100 grams of sugar substitute as well as one half scoops of de Novo’s white cake protein powder and lastly we’re gonna add two teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice now I’m gonna take out my 1970s hand mixer and mix until everything is well combined once that’s looking good spray an 8 inch pie plate with non-stick baking spray and add your batter now all we have to do is bake at 350 degrees for 177 Celsius for about 45 minutes I think this pie is best served cold and the great thing about it is it keeps nicely in your fridge for several days all right so the macros on this pumpkin pie are absolutely awesome every slice is 141 calories 0.75 grams of fat 22 and 1/2 grams of carbs 2 of which is fiber and 11 grams of protein like I said the website is now up and running so if you want to check it out and print this recipe you can do so by clicking the link in the video description or in my comment below I also want to thank you guys again for all your support it really means a lot to me and I can’t wait to see where your to takes us happy Monday guys
