hey guys so I want to talk about the relationship between UV light Sun and cancer so there’s definitely this thought out there that you need to stay out of the Sun because it’s going to cause cancer and I just want to kind of talk about different aspects because that’s not a hundred percent true there’s a really good doctor that you should look into if you wanted a more information about this he’s a surgical oncologist his name is dr. Dan quite he researched melanomas which are cancers in the skin and he basically found out they’re not related to sun exposure which is quite interesting so melanocytes are cells in the skin that release melanin which is a pigment that protects our skin against UV light okay so that’s what’s supposed to happen now when you get Sun you get vitamin D and vitamin D is very protective against cancer not just to the skin of a lot of different types of cancer so why would the Sun give you cancer if the Sun gives you vitamin D that’s supposed to protect you against cancer here’s what I think that’s happening I think a couple things number one if you’re consuming a lot of sugar which you’re setting your body up for a lot of oxidative damage and you get repeated sunburns okay which causes inflammation which we know cancer tends to go into areas of inflammation so that’s bad you don’t want to do that but the other thing that’s interesting is that sunscreens actually have chemicals that are carcinogenic some of the chemicals in some of the sunscreens actually can trigger cancer so here you are putting this stuff on your skin it’s absorbing into the bloodstream number one number two it’s blocking the vitamin D absorption so now you don’t have the benefit of vitamin D but we get the chemicals because we’re thinking that oh yeah it’s the Sun that’s causing the cancers so we need to kind of align all this information that’s something that makes sense first of all you don’t want to overdo it with the Sun you don’t want to also do tanning beds because you’re getting a different type of UV it is true that the Sun does give some radiation that does cause damage in ourselves but normally we’re supposed to have antioxidants in the cells that protect us normally we’re supposed to have enough vitamin D to protect us and enough melanin in the skin to protect us so I think if you’re consuming very healthy foods a lot of antioxidants and you’re not overdoing it with too much Sun so you don’t get burned I believe that the Sun is going to be healthy for the skin because you’re going to get enough vitamin D to protect the immune system so I put a couple links down below too just to get more data on the actual studies on this because it’s kind of a mixed bag and so you rely just wanted to give you the whole picture and just my viewpoint of what I think about this all right thanks for watching so I hope you’re coming to the keto Health Summit coming up in October so I want to quickly comment on what we’re gonna do that’s different from other conventions okay the problem with these other conventions is they give you information over a load okay it’s so much data that you’re basically swimming in a sea of information we’re going to do things very differently we’re only going to cover the most important things that make a huge difference now there are three very powerful strategies that we’re going to be talking about at the summit that you will not find and any of my youtube videos number one is on memory I’m going to be showing you something very cool to dramatically increase your memory and concentration that’s going to blow you away and number two I’m going to show you how to increase your stress tolerance so you are completely calm all the time alright and number three and most importantly if you have a slow metabolism if you’ve died it for a long time and everything is kind of just really slow I’m going to show you how to get complete control over your metabolism so you can literally turn up the dial as high as you want and control as much weight as you want to lose and these three things are just a tiny bit of what you’re going to learn in the summit so click the link below get signed up and I will see you in October
