hey guys so the second week of contest prep is in the books and that means it’s time for another physique and posing update this week was definitely a struggle in terms of weight loss even though i think i hit my macros better this week but i did last week I just didn’t lose as much weight so I actually ended up losing just a quarter of a pound this week which is way less than the goal that I’m trying to hit which is one pound a week at minimum which is equivalent to a half a percent of my body weight a half a percent of my body weight is the minimum I’m trying to lose each week during the diet and my range is all the way up to one percent so I’m trying not to lose more than one percent of my body weight and I’m not trying to lose less than a half a percent of my body weight so with that being said I think there’s a couple of reasons why I didn’t lose the half a percent that I’m trying to lose number one I did add cardio into my routine this week but I didn’t end up getting to the cardio until sort of the end of the week with my weigh-ins so actually today is not sixteen weeks out from the show exactly it’s 15 weeks and six days and I woke up this morning almost at an all-time new low weigh-in for the diet so I think today I’m finally starting to see the results of that 500 calorie cardio burn and the second reason why I don’t think I lost as much weight as I could have is simply because i haven’t decreased my macros since i started the diet so my macros are still 350 carb 60 fat and 220 grams of protein and i don’t plan on decreasing my carbs until i get to a cardio burn level of a thousand calories of cardio per week and that’s just because my macros really aren’t super strong right now in terms of what i would like to see them at while I’m dieting anyways I think I look quite a bit better this week than I did last week even though I really didn’t lose that much weight and I also want to say last week I was having a really hard time flexing my legs apparently because i looked back at deposing from last week and I just like you didn’t flex your legs once so let’s get to this posing and see what my physique is looking like today [Music] every time i do posing I realize just how a lot of shape i am so that is week six teens posing update I think I’m making progress and I think I look a lot better like I said earlier it just weird I only lost a quarter of a pound so I’m going to be making some adjustments next week i’m adding 250 calories of a cardio burn into my plan so next week macro staying the same but I catch my breath but I’m going to burn 750 calories on cardio probably the elliptical and that’s my plan right now so hope you enjoyed the posing update see you guys in the next vlog doc let me stop give you a lift you’re fired
