can you see this can you see it how awesome is the sweater so the holidays are right around the corner Thanksgiving is just a few days away American Thanksgiving that is holiday season is really it’s like international weight gain season actually it’s true all across the world people gain weight during the holidays what you put on a little weight a little wing did this look like a little weight to you since that’s the case I thought it sure with you guys five of my best tips to avoid the weight gain trap that all of us around the world are apparently experiencing during the holiday season so let’s hop right into it and get to these tips so my first tip is enjoy yourself guys but don’t use the day as an excuse to just totally overeat to totally pig out and just totally blow your diet damn little lady you so can’t put it away what really works for me is fasting for most the day so actually Thanksgivings coming up here in a couple of days like I said I won’t eat breakfast on Thanksgiving I don’t eat lunch on Thanksgiving saving all my calories for the big meal and probably that second meal that happens a few hours after the big meal and that’s just to help me keep my overall calorie total down for the day but if fastings not for you maybe you just have a small meal much smaller than you would typically have for breakfast a very small lunch or no lunch at all and save a lot of the calories like I said for that big meal and then that second meal that most of us I think are gonna have after our main Thanksgiving meal my second tip is don’t use the day as an excuse to be lazy a lot of times during the holidays there’s some kind of fun physical activity to sign up for either a 5k a 10k the turkey trot which by the way the turkey trot Buffalo it is the oldest foot race in America which is super cool I like to do that every year there’s probably a Santa Run where you are if it’s getting closer to Christmas go for a walk if you don’t want to sign up for anything most gyms have holiday hours during the holiday season for instance I think my gym closes at 1:00 in the afternoon on Thanksgiving Day really just make it a point to schedule something your day that’s active that’s fun that’s gonna burn some calories and it’s gonna keep you from being lazy all day all right so my third tip is fill up on the protein protein protein but with that being said usually at the holiday meals there’s tons and tons of sides and the sides can be some of the most calorie dense portions of these meals so what I do is I fill up on the protein and then I keep my size I like to have a taste of everything so a little bit a little taste of all the sides but I don’t go overboard with the sides most of my plate is built around protein tip number four is to give yourself a drink lemon the calories from drinks can really add up quick what I like to do is set a two-drink limit for myself for any holiday event or dinner that way I can partake in the drinking if I want to but also I’m gonna keep my calorie consumption and empty calorie consumption under control as well that brings us to my fifth and final tip I sort of alluded to this earlier but I’m gonna expand on it here and that is have a taste of everything if that’s your thing but save your full serving sizes for things that you really really love if it’s not a 9 out of 10 or better just don’t bother if it have the taste you know get your little fill but really don’t load up on it don’t waste the calories on something that isn’t amazing waste the calories on things that are absolutely delicious like pecan pie terrible macros like twice as many macros and galleries as pumpkin pie but it’s delicious that’s the stuff that I really like and that’s the stuff that I want to use most of my calories on that’s pretty much how I approach every holiday season or function and also how I approach vacations and my honeymoon is well I didn’t gain any weight on my honeymoon because I followed a lot of the
