hey what’s happening guys today I am going to show you how to make a low-carb keto banana bread mug cake smoke cake it’s kind of like if banana bread and cake made a baby that would be this mug cake so that being said let’s get in this one and make this mug cake that was that was fantastic timing alright so first things first you want to get out your food scale because we’re gonna be weighing out some ingredients and a medium-sized bowl or a measuring cup I like to use a measuring cup for this and then as you’re seeing the first ingredient we’re adding to the bowl is gonna be two large eggs and then the next ingredient we’re gonna add is gonna be some banana extract and we’re using banana extract for two reasons number one it’s gonna give our banana bread mug cake eight hon and flavor without us actually having to use bananas and number two it’s gonna help us save a bunch of carbs because we’re not actually gonna have to use bananas for our banana bread mug cake so once we’ve added a teaspoon of that to our bowl the next ingredient we’re gonna add is gonna be some carbs recalibrate we’ll Serpa is gonna add some sweetness to our mug cake as well as a tiny hint of maple flavor which i think is just a really delicious part of the banana bread and the zero carb pancake syrup that I like to use is Walden Farms if you want to pick some up there’s a link in the video description but for today’s recipe we’re gonna add a half a tablespoon of that stuff to our bowl and that’s gonna do it for the liquid ingredients so we’re just gonna get out our whisk and whisk fi all those ingredients together until the yolks and the maple syrup and the banana extract all combine with one another and a nice yoky soupy consistency kind of forms in our Bowl and once that happens we’re gonna take out the dry ingredients for a mug cake and the first dry ingredient we’re gonna add is gonna be some coconut flour for today’s mug cake recipe we’re gonna add a heaping tablespoon or 10 grams of that stuff to our bowl and then the next ingredient we’re gonna add is gonna be some almond flour we’re actually going to be adding two tablespoons or 14 grams of the to our bowl and then of course we have to sweeten our keto mug cake up but we’re gonna do that without adding any carbs or calories and my favorite way to do that is by adding confectioners you’re with her all to my mug cakes today I’m going with swerves confectioner’s you’re thrown it’s what I use in all my recipes if you want to pick some of this up there’s a link to grab it in the video description below but for today’s recipe we’re gonna add a tablespoon or 12 grams of that stuff to the bowl and then of course we want this mug cake to rise a little bit so we’re gonna add a half a teaspoon of baking powder as well as just a pinch of cinnamon because of course we making banana bread and what would banana bread be without a little bit of cinnamon so now at this point we’re gonna get our whisk back out whisk all those ingredients together until everything’s combined and a thick batter starts to form in our bowl and once that comes together and it should come together pretty quickly we’ll actually want to get out for Ramkin instead of a mug for a mug cake just because a ram can actually cooks more evenly than a mug does anyways once you get your Ramkin out you want to coat it with a little bit of baking spray and then you can start adding all that banana bread batter to the Ramkin once you’ve got all the banana bread batter added the triple B as I like to call it that’s when you can add in the toppings of your choice today I’m going with the super popular lillies no sugar added low carb chocolate chips these things are super delicious and definitely might go to for chocolate chips and you guys know I love chocolate so I think I’m a pretty reliable source on how good these are but anyways at this point we’re ready to microwave the mug cake and I have a 700 watt microwave it’s like the least powerful microwave ever made and around a minute and 45 seconds is the perfect amount of time for this mug cake in my microwave however your microwave time might be a little different depending on the power of your microwave most likely your mug cake is gonna take a lot less time than mine because like I said I have the least powered microwave known to man anyways once it’s done in the microwave check this out it is the perfect cake consistency to it it’s absolutely filled with banana flavor it takes no time at all to make and it’s just incredibly delicious all right so that’s my low-carb keto banana bread mug cake recipe I hope you guys enjoy this mug cake if you want more info about it check the video description below there’s a bunch more info down there thank you guys so much for watching I will see you in the next recipe
