New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?
More specifically, you want help with KETO MASON JAR ICE CREAM | STRAWBERRY?
hey what’s happening guys I am back with another quick and easy keto mason jar ice cream recipe for you we’ve done chocolate and we’ve done vanilla mason jar ice cream on the channel and today I’m showing you how to make strawberry kedo mason jar ice cream now if Neapolitan ice cream is your thing you have all the recipes well after today you love all the recipes that you need to make low carb keto Neapolitan ice cream if you want to check out the chocolate and vanilla recipes I’ll leave links in the video description below though that being said let’s jump right into this one and I’ll show you how to make this strawberry keto mason jar ice cream alright so the first thing we’re gonna do is get out our food scale and a small dish and then we’re going to prep our strawberries as you’re seeing here to do that we’ll want to use a paring knife to remove the stems of the strawberries and then we’re gonna cut them into tiny pieces by the way to medium sized strawberries which is about 40 grams is the perfect amount for today’s quito strawberry ice cream anyways when we cut those up and have added them to the dish we’ll just want to take a fork and mash them until they’re pureed so when the strawberries are prepped we’re gonna set them aside and get out a mason jar I recommend using one that’s at least 16 ounces and if you can find a widemouth one like this it makes scooping out poquito ice cream a lot easier too so we’ll want to get that mason jar onto our food scale and then we’re going to get out the base of our strawberry keto ice cream and that is some heavy whipping cream so for today’s mason jar ice cream recipe want to add a cup or 235 milliliters of it to our jar so since we’re trying to keep the carbs as low as possible and we’re not actually using that many real strawberries in today’s quito strawberry ice cream recipe we want to use some strawberry extract to give the ice cream a ton of strawberry flavor without adding a ton of carbs having said that a heaping teaspoon or five grams of it will add the perfect amount of strawberry flavor to this keto mason jar ice cream now strawberry ice cream is usually very pink and to replicate that with our Kino ice cream what we’re gonna do is just use the tiniest bit of red food coloring an eighth of a teaspoon which is about four dry so that will add the perfect pink color to our ice cream so that’s what we’re gonna be adding to our jar okay so now we’re gonna sweeten up our low-carb keto ice cream and to do that I recommend using confectionary swerve a lot of you guys know I use this stuff to sweeten up all of my keto recipes and I like to use it for three reasons it has zero calories zero net carbs and it dissolves incredibly well so as you’re seeing here for our strawberry keto ice cream we’re gonna add about three tablespoons or 24 grams that stuff to sweeten it up and then lastly want to get those strawberries back out from earlier and add those to our mason jars well at this point we’re ready to screw on the top of our mason jar and give everything a good shake what we’re looking for is the heavy cream to thicken up and basically double in size and that’s probably gonna take a couple of minutes to happen so just be patient once it does thicken up though want to get that mason jar into the freezer and freeze our strawberry keto ice cream for around four to five hours after that amount of time passes we can get the keto ice cream out of the freezer and then check out how creamy a scoop of this stuff is it is so delicious every spoonful is filled with tons of strawberry flavor and bits of real strawberries as always for more info on today’s strawberry keto mason jar ice cream recipe check out the video description below and I hope you like it

THINGS I USED IN TODAY’S MASON JAR KETO ICE CREAM RECIPE:
*NOTE: If you plan to freeze the ice cream for several days I recommend substituting the Swerve with allulose to help keep the ice cream soft. It will freeze quite hard if you use Swerve, and you’ll need to let it set out at room temperature for up to 30 minutes for it to soften up.
KETO ICE CREAM MACROS (PER SCOOP) Recipe Makes 3 Scoops:
3g NET CARBS
3g NET CARBS
*NOTE: Do not count the “carbs” from the confectioners swerve towards net carbs….it has 0 calories and should be tracked as 0 carbs!
PRO-TIP: Use allulose if freezing for more than 1 day. It will keep the keto ice cream creamier. The ice cream may need up to 30 minutes to defrost depending how frozen it is, so let it set at room temp until it softens up to your liking.
It’s BEST the day you make it!!
