what’s up guys it has been a while since we’ve made anything savory on the channel I want to listen made this white chicken chili recipe a couple of weeks ago I was like give me the recipe I have to make this for you guys it’s so delicious she’s a pretty good cook I stole it from her it’s not my recipe but it is delicious and it is good for you so let’s get cooking take out a large pot set the burner to medium heat and add in about a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil now we’ll start sauteing some of our veggies beginning with one large chopped up onion four minced cloves of garlic 2 medium poblano peppers and a diced jalapeno all right so now we can let these guys sweat a little bit and just give them a stir every once in a while now we’re looking good so add in a tablespoon of cumin one and a half teaspoons of coriander and a teaspoon of chili powder once we’ve got all the spices in our pot we’re gonna mix our veggies continuously until they’re all evenly coated all right we’re looking good so let’s add in four cups of chicken broth and the juice from two limes to our pot now we’re gonna give the broth a quick stir and bring it up to just a boil when a few bubbles start to form we’re gonna add in a cup of chopped green chilies and we’re also going to add in a can of tomatillos that we strain and chopped as well we’re also going to add whole corn kernels some great North white beans canned diced tomatoes and a pound and a half of shredded chicken breasts now let’s give our chili one final stir and make sure everything is well incorporated with each other once that’s all set cover the pot turn the heat down to low and let the chili simmer for about an hour all right so this chili recipe is like the perfect meal prep recipe only takes about an hour and a half to make they make seven and a half pounds of chili literally chili for days I like to split my servings up into a half pound servings it’s about 225 grams every serving that way is a 154 calories 2.3 grams of fat 17 grams of carbs six and a half of which is fiber and 16 and a half grams of protein give me questions for suggestions leave them in the comments below and you can always see the entire recipe printed out metric measurements all that good stuff it’s in the video description below just follow the link to my website and as always thanks for watching
