so today in the channel I’m gonna show you guys how to make a low-carb keto friendly pancake recipe that has less than two grams of net carbs per slice if you’re nice enough to share a slice with somebody who’s not doing a low carb diet or the keto diet they are totally not gonna have any idea that this is a low carb recipe it is legitimately so good it tastes like just normal pound cake and I’m sure if you’re craving pound cake and you’re doing a low carb diet this is the answer to your cravings so that being said let’s get in this one make some keto friendly pound cake guys alright so first things first you want to pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees next you want to take out a very large bowl a food scale and some superfine almond flour we’re gonna be adding one and a quarter cups or about 125 grams of the almond flour to the bowl and once we’ve added that the next thing we’re gonna do is sweeten the recipe up by using some confectioner’s urinal if you’ve seen any of my other recipes you know I love ureteral as a sweetener especially for keto friendly low carb recipes because it is a zero calorie zero net carb sweetener and we’re gonna be adding a heaping 1/2 cup or around a hundred grams of the confectioner’s you’re thrown to our balls well we’re also gonna add a teaspoon of baking powder and just a pinch of salt after we add those ingredients we’re gonna give the bowl a quick whisk just to make sure everything combines in there and then once everything is combined we’re gonna set that bowl aside and get together our wet ingredients so the first thing we’ll want to do is cut and cubed three and a half ounces or around a hundred grams of full fat cream cheese and add it to our wet ingredient bowl once we’ve added all the cream cheese the next thing we’re gonna do is add four tablespoons of some coconut oil to the bowl as well as four large eggs and the last ingredient we’re adding is a teaspoon of vanilla extract so now we’re gonna take out our hand mixer and mix all those ingredients up until they’re well combined and it might take several minutes for that to happen so just be patient with mixing all the ingredients what you’re trying to do is get all that cream cheese to mix up with all the other ingredients and just so you know if you use a room temperature cream cheese this can help speed things up a little bit so just keep that in mind when you’re making the recipe so now at this point we’re gonna get our dry ingredients back out and we’re gonna add those to the wet ingredients and then what I like to do is just take a spatula mix both those together as best as I can and then I take my hand mixer back out mix everything together with the hand mixer and then at the point everything’s pretty much combined with each other and then at this point what I’ll do is I’ll transfer the batter into a loaf pan lined with some parchment paper coat the parchment paper with a little bit of baking spray and then add all of that batter into my loaf pan so once you’ve got all the batter added into the pan what we’re gonna do is we’re in a bake our pound cake for about 40 minutes or until the cake is golden brown on top once it is golden brown we’re gonna remove from the oven let it cool completely in the tray itself and while it’s cooling we’re gonna get together the icing for the pound cake so in a small dish we’re gonna add some more that powdered girth or all that we use before we’re actually gonna be adding a heaping quarter cup or about 50 grams of the confectioner’s your throw all to the dish as well as a heaping tablespoon of some unsweetened almond milk so now we’re gonna take a spoon or a spatula or just whatever you have on hand and mix those two ingredients together until a thick glaze starts to form and once a glaze does start to form we’re gonna add the glaze at the top of our cooled pound cake once our glaze is completely added to the pound cake and equally spread out over the top of the cake you’ll wall out the glaze set for at least 15 minutes then you can cut the cake into 12 pieces and of course as always enjoy guys so that stays recipe I hope you guys enjoy the pound cake if you make it if you recreate it I love to see your version of it so make sure you tag me on instagram or message me DM me on instagram my handle is I’m doing this because it’s in the video description below my Instagram handle and down there is also the full written out recipe with the metric measurements and the full macros as well as links to all the products that I used to make the pound cake today if you’re looking for any of that stuff everything pretty much is in the video description below anyways guys thank you so much for watching I will see you the next recipe you

THINGS I USED IN TODAY’S KETO POUND CAKE RECIPE:
Super Fine Almond Flour:
KETO POUND CAKE INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 Cup (125g) Super Fine Almond Flour
Heaping 1/2 Cup (100g) Confectioners Erythritol
1 Tsp Baking Powder
Just a pinch of salt
3 1/2 oz (100g) Full Fat Cream Cheese (room temperature
4 Tbsps (60g) Coconut oil
4 Large Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla extract
Heaping 1/4 Cup (50g) Confectioners Erythritol
Heaping Tbsp (20g) Unsweetened almond milk
Pre-heat the oven to 350 Degrees.
Add all of the dry ingredients to a large bowl mix, combine, and set the bowl aside.
Add all of the wet ingredients to an even larger bowl, and use aa hand mixer to combine those ingredients.
Once the wet ingredients are combined, add the dry ingredients, and use the hand mixer to combine the wet and dry ingredients together.
When everything is incorporated into one another – and a batter has formed – pour the batter into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper, and coat the paper with baking spray.
Bake for around 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let the loaf cool in the tray, and while it’s cooling mix the glaze ingredients together in a small dish.
When the loaf has cooled completely, remove the loaf from the tray, and add the glaze to the top of the loaf.
Let the glaze set on top of the loaf, and once set, cut the loaf into 12 slices.
