[Music] [Music] back it’s Friday morning 11 o’clock Eastern Standard Time and we are here Karen is in the house as well in a building in the house right so today we’re gonna answer your questions and just so you know anything that I say is not meant to diagnose you or give you any type of medical advice just check with your doctor this is for education only okay and very good so and then a little bit later we’re going to talk about or I’m going to talk about why your LDL bad cholesterol could go higher on a ketogenic diet so stay tuned for that all right so let’s go to Ruth she’s been waiting for actually I lied we’re gonna go to Karen from Arizona she’s been waiting in the longest 15 minutes hi Karen hi okay thanks for taking my call from sunny Arizona here two quick questions of the kale shake and psyllium husk on the kale shake is it it’s something that you could have everyday or is it just like for emergencies or for trips we’ve been on for five months we’ve been safely making a kale shake every day and we got the killer shake we’re going on a trip and also on the psyllium husk I’ve been using it for years and years and years I always put in a scooper you know my protein shake every morning and I’m thinking whoa wait a minute maybe I should check maybe I shouldn’t be using this so look at my question okay good now question are you talking about making your own kale shake or the one that I have well I the one you have I perhaps am I’m asking you that as good as we’ve been making our own Cal shake ok oh good yeah so yeah making your own actually is a little bit better the one I have is more like a meal replacement so it’s actually very very healthy because you’re getting some of the most seriously nutrient-dense vitamins and minerals and phytonutrients in that kale shake you can totally do it every day and you grind it up or you you puree it in the blender and then slug it down the only thing is that if you are predisposed to having a weakness within the thyroid then you might want to just add a little seek help like a little maybe one in the morning BAM that will count or any put doing it as far as the psyllium seed that’s totally fine too but just realize that you’re probably getting enough fiber from the kale so you might not even need it okay because the purpose of the psyllium seed is to kind of help the fiber through the gut but you’re gonna get enough from the kale thanks Karen yeah okay guys just stand by for one momento we’re gonna do something and be right back don’t go you
