what’s up guys I hope you have an a fantastic day wherever you are today I’m gonna show you how to make my favorite kind of cookie we’re doing some you know raising cookies on the channel today except this isn’t your typical oatmeal raisin cookie guys these only have a hundred calories apiece by the way today’s recipe it’s sponsored it’s sponsored by ice appear I use some they’re unflavored whey protein in these cookies just to kind of give them a boost of protein and also I didn’t have to use as much flour so I’ll use the protein in place of the flour so I was able to reduce the carbs in the recipe as well by using the protein powder so well further ado let’s hop right into this recipe guys and get cooking alright guys so in a large bowl you want to add one and a half cups of quick oats 3/4 of a cup of white whole wheat flour a scoop and a half of ISO Pure’s unflavored whey protein powder next you want to add a half a cup of raisins followed by a heaping teaspoon of baking powder a heaping teaspoon of cinnamon and just a pinch of salt now we’re gonna go ahead and add the wet ingredients starting with one large egg followed by a half a cup of some honey and honestly guys I love honey like I could drink honey straight out of the jar so any excuse to add honey to a recipe is a good enough excuse for me but hopefully you like it cuz we’re adding it to these cookies today we’re also gonna add two and a half tablespoons of some melted coconut oil and the final ingredient we’re gonna add is gonna be a teaspoon of vanilla extract now I can just take out a spatula and mix all those ingredients together until a thick cookie dough batter like that forms get out your cookie scoop and then scoop 15 even size cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper once you’ve got all your cookies added to the sheet you’ll want to bake the cookies at 325 degrees for about 12 minutes and then you want to let the cookies cool completely in the tray itself and then once they’re done cooling of course as always enjoy guys alright so that’s gonna do it for today’s recipe guys I hope you liked it if you want the full recipe with the metric measurements or you want to pick up any of the stuff that I used to make today’s recipe all that is in the video description below we enjoy today’s recipe it really helps the video a lot if you hit the thumbs up button if you’re not subscribed yet subscribe and I see you guys in the next video [Music]

THINGS I USED IN TODAY’S OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIE RECIPE:
Unflavored Whey Protein:
Large Baking Sheet:
Big Pyrex Bowl:
HEALTHY OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES RECIPE:
1 1/2 Cups (120g) Instant Oats
3/4 Cup (90g) White Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 Scoops (45g) Isopure Unflavored Whey Protein Isolate
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup (140g) Honey
2 1/2 Tbsps (30g) Coconut Oil Melted
1 Large Egg
1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup (75g) Raisins
Pre-heat oven to 325 Degrees
Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix until a thick cookie dough forms
Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
Once combined, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and add the cookies using a cookie scoop (around 20 cookies).
Bake for around 10-12 minutes.
Once the cookies are done baking let them cool down completely in the cookie tray itself.
Once cooled, store in an air-tight container for several days.
