hey everyone its Joe from low-calorie cooking and today I’m going to share with you my delicious low-calorie tuna fish sandwich recipe I know you’re gonna love it as much as me it’s gonna save you about half the calories from a typical tuna fish sandwich so let’s get started I’ve already started get our vegetables together for our open-faced low calorie tuna fish sandwiches the tuna finish that we’re going to be using is just your average solid white albacore tuna in water nothing crazy their bread schwoeble smart light bread you can find this at Walmart it’s 35 calories a slice so we’re gonna be saving some calories using that and now our Mayo and in mayonnaise really makes or breaks the tuna fish sandwich right so in my opinion from left to right it’s the best to worst tasting the Hellmann’s Lite is actually gonna save you it’s 1/3 of the calories so it’s going to save you 2/3 of the calories using the light mayonnaise instead of the regular and I think that the taste differential is really negligible the green the low-fat Hellmann’s I’m not a really big fan of you can definitely taste it’s a little bit different it’s not really like Mayo I did a blind taste test before I made this video and I could really tell the difference you’re only saving 20 calories per serving between the blue and the green so I just stick with the Hellmann’s light and the blue now this miracle Mayo it’s zero calories Walden Farms does have some great products this mayonnaise is not one of them I’ll be honest with you guys I’ve had this mayonnaise for three years and I’ve hardly used it so I wouldn’t recommend that alright guys so our tuna fish is ready to go we’re gonna start adding our vegetables now our onion yellow peppers orange peppers celery will squirt our lemon juice in here 5 servings 80 grams of the low-fat mayo all right I give it a good mix it’s looking good now let’s get our bread ready all right our sandwiches are looking tasty let’s put the finishing touches on them just gonna add a little bit of chopped tomato to the top of these don’t be afraid to get your hands a bit dirtier so that’s it a real simple and delicious way to make low calorie tuna fish sandwiches your average tuna fish sandwich will run you about five hundred and sixty eight calories if you can believe that for two of these it’s only going to be 316 calories you’re gonna save 252 calories or 45% less calories eating tuna fish sandwiches it this way thanks for watching this video guys I’d appreciate it if you likes comment or share the video and if you know a better way to make tuna fish sandwiches even less calories than this please let me know put in the comments below I’m always looking for new recipes thanks again guys
