hey guys one of my guiltiest pleasures is potato chips and there are plenty of recipes out there that advocate baking potato slices in the oven for at least 30 minutes to make them but I’ve run into three problems making potato chips away number one burning a lot of the chips number two some of the chips are never crispy enough and number three it takes at least 30 minutes to make potato chips this way so I’m letting you in on a little six minute potato chip secret today that’s right it’s only going to take six minutes to make amazingly crunchy perfectly cooked healthy potato chips let’s get cooking the first thing you want to do is thinly slice your potatoes you want your slices to be about the width of a quarter next spray a plate with non-stick baking spray I’m using buttered flavoured pan and add your potato slices add you play to your microwave and cook for three minutes I have a 1250 watt microwave so your cook times may vary at home 1 to 3 minutes is up use a pair of baking mitts to take your plate out of the up it’s going to be hot and use a pair of tongs to flip your potato slices once your potato slices have been flipped bake in the microwave for another 3 minutes and there you have it guys perfectly cooked potato chips I personally think I could take these to a farmers market put them in mini bags and sell them as a gourmet healthy alternative to those deep-fried unhealthy versions you find in the grocery store these are highly addicting and what good’s a potato chip and I’m not going to show you the crunch test it’s a winner and that’s a wrap today I’ve got an entire plate of potato chips to enjoy I like the top line with a little bit of non-stick baking spring when they come out of the microwave and a pinch of salt the macro licious numbers 110 calories 26 grams of carbs 2 of which are fiber 0 grams of fat and 3 grams of protein that’s right these are fat-free potato chips questions or suggestions please put the comments below and as always thanks for watching guys

6 Minutes Recipe How To Make Healthy, Homemade, Fat-Free, Potato Chips
Cut potatoes into thin slices (the width of the quarter)
Spray a microwave safe plate with non-stick cooking spray (my favorite is buttered flavored)
Add potato slices to plate and microwave for 3 minutes (***1250 WATT MICROWAVED USED) may take longer if yours isn’t as powerful.
Flip and microwave another 3 minutes
They should be crunchy at this point, but if you let them cool they’ll get even crunchier
If they are not atleast crunchy microwave 1 minute at a time until they get there…and let stand.
