what’s up guys today we’re making a strawberry mud cake and I don’t know why but for some reason when I was coming up with this recipe strawberry cake just seemed like an odd combination to me in fact I thought maybe I should do a strawberry shortcake mud cake instead but I reluctantly give this a try anyways and I have to admit is a total home run it’s light it’s refreshing and most of all it’s delicious so let’s get cooking we’re gonna start this mug cake using our blender first add in one whole egg followed by a 1/2 cup or 70 grams of fresh strawberries and blend until liquefied now we’ll add a heaping third of a cup or 50 grams of self-rising flour to an oversized mug next up is 1 tablespoon or 12 grams of sugar substitute followed by our blender mix from earlier and let’s also add 1/8 of a teaspoon vanilla extract now we’re just going to mix until well combined once combined at a tablespoon or 15 grams of diced strawberries and cover them in batter now just microwave for a minute and 30 seconds and top with some frozen strawberry Greek yogurt strawberry licious alright guys so my favorite part of this cake is easily the chunks and pieces of fresh strawberries you actually find inside the cake the macros 306 calories 4 grams of fat 56 grams of carbs 3 of which are fiber and 11 grams of protein if you have Instagram and you’re gonna make this cake I’d love to see a photo of it so make sure to use the hashtag month the mug cakes in your post and tag me in it as well my Instagram handle is somewhere down there and as always thanks for watching
