hey guys I’m definitely a little bit more excited than usual to share today’s recipe because brownies are easily one of my favorite treats and I’m guessing I’m not the only one because they also happen to be my most popular recipe on YouTube and for good reason that recipe is macro friendly delicious and unbelievably easy to do you really can’t screw it up however I get one question time and time again on that video and that is what can I substitute for the dairy unfortunately can’t substitute anything for the dairy in that recipe so been wanting to come out with the brownie recipe that requires no dairy at all and this is my answer to that problem I hope you enjoy these now let’s get cooking take out a glass measuring cup or a small bowl and add in half a cup or 168 grams of honey now microwave your honey until it’s extra liquidy like this and it’ll probably take you about 30 to 45 seconds to get it that way next you’re gonna add 1/3 of a cup or 30 grams of unsweetened cocoa powder to your bowl now you can mix these two delicious ingredients together until smooth and combine like this once combined set your bowl aside and let’s get out the rest of your dry ingredients alright so in a larger bowl we’re gonna add 1/2 a cup or 60 grams of white whole wheat flour 1/4 of a teaspoon baking powder 1/4 of a teaspoon baking soda and 1/4 of a teaspoon of salt go ahead and mix those ingredients together until they’re well incorporated with each other and once combined set that bowl aside to okay so now we’re gonna bring our honey mixture back we’re gonna add 1/2 a cup or 121 grams of unsweetened applesauce next you want to add 2 tablespoons or 28 grams of melted coconut oil 1/2 a teaspoon of vanilla extract and also 1 whole egg once you’ve added those ingredients give them a good mix with a spatula until a smooth chocolaty consistency forms now pour your wet ingredients into the dry and combined when your batter is looking good like this take out an 8 by 8 cake tray coat it with some non-stick baking spray and add your batter to the tray bake at 350 degrees or 177 celsius for 25 to 30 minutes cool your brownies in the tray for about 5 minutes and then transfer them duo to finish cooling cut them into 16 slices and enjoy how delicious – those brownies look the macarons per brownie 73 calories 1 gram of fat 14 grams of carbs one of which is fiber and one gram of protein question of the day I really under the assumption that there’s only two types of people in this world people who like nuts in their brownies and people who don’t like nuts in their priorities let me know in the comments below which one of these people you are and my answer will be down there as well – if you want to print the recipe out you can do so by clicking the link in the video description below and as always thanks for watching guys
