Today we’re going to talk about an interesting Turkish study that recently came out on faster recovery from COVID.

In the study, they used two different treatments with the end result of improving recovery by 3.5 days. They also found that it may help decrease the severity of the infection and inflammation and improve liver function.

Four main natural nutrients used:
1. Nicotinamide ribose (an alternative form of vitamin B3)
• It may increase NAD, which can increase the repair of the DNA in the mitochondria

2. L-serine (an amino acid)
• During stress, there is a huge demand for L-serine
• It supports the immune system
• It can help support the remodeling of lung tissues

3. NAC (n-acetyl-cysteine)
• It turns into L-glutathione (an important antioxidant for the liver)
• It can help repair damage from inflammation
• It can be good for chronic respiratory problems

4. L-carnitine L-tartrate
• It transports fatty acids to the mitochondria for energy
• It can help improve recovery after exercise and stress

Personally, I would also add vitamin D, zinc, and vitamin C.
