have um steve our producer came down with the coronavirus and he’s doing much better so he’ll be here next week but um have some really interesting information to share with you on that so we’ll um discuss that shortly and you kind of need a producer if you’re actually having that done all right so we have people from pakistan all over the place that is awesome so the first question from starving emma my mother is always sleepy after a meal she does two meals with fats and takes mct oil and all the supplements to daily if she eats sour cream after each meal she doesn’t get that sleepy anymore well this is totally uh an insulin resistance problem and so you’re going to find that the more that she improves insulin resistance the less sleepy she’s going to be what’s happening the cells can’t pull in the nutrients one thing and also the insulin resistance affects the amount of fuel that goes to the brain so i would beef up no pun intended the fats and i think that the energy will get better and i also support digestion by taking more apple cider vinegar that’s what i would do all right how much vitamin c to take a daily if i’m not sick i would take like one to 200 milligrams that would be enough make sure it’s food based dough okay what what’s more effective keto or if well if you compare them both intermittent fasting is is more powerful but the combination is important too because if you don’t do keto and you do f if what happens is that you you cut off your ability to get in in a minute of fasting so like if you ate something carbo type foods uh it could knock you out of you know keto and fasting it knocks you out for a period of could be 24 to 48 hours if not longer so if you’re doing that every so every third day you never really get the full benefits that you need so combination is really really important because one will affect the other one like if you for example had some sweet food and then and you’re doing keto you’re gonna find the next day you’re gonna be craving sweets just because you’re not full you’re kind of got bumped out okay jesse had a question where can i learn more about immunosuppressive drugs getting off them i don’t know i don’t have i don’t have an answer for that but i will tell you there are several things that are natural that act as an immune suppressant okay and i’m talking about something that modulates or helps regulates and calms down an overactive immune system and i think what jesse is talking about is he’s he wants to avoid a hyper reaction when the immune system gets over enthusiastic what it does is it starts creating collateral damage and it’s called a cytokine storm or cytokines in general most of them are are pro-inflammatory so they create inflammation and they’re basically messages messengers and one would be interferon um and when you actually have some infection and you feel like you have the flu headache muscle achy that means that interferon that cytokine is trying to kill off a virus so that bad flu-like feeling that you have is not a bad thing it’s a good thing it’s like your body’s trying it’s actually working and so you might think oh this is terrible i need to take um some type of um not aspirin but you know ibuprofen or something to counter that but you don’t necessarily want to jump into that you let your body go through this process because you’re going to fight the infection off the same thing with a fever you want to let your body have a fever for a period of time and not quickly try to suppress it so um so that’s important and so the most powerful um like immune suppressor would be vitamin d it’s it actually can lower cytokines it can lower the cytokine storm and also zinc both of them are are kind of anti-inflammatory so if you have more of those maybe your doctor can actually work with you on lessening the medication okay is sodium ascorbate with zinc is it harmful the person elevated creatine um no that’s totally fine i wouldn’t worry about it at all okay so let me take a question from the 1 800 number okay so here’s a question i need help healing from a serious celiac reaction and gastroparesis only eating plant-based what what do you advise okay celiac is a reaction that occurs with gluten your body considers gluten a poison i’m guessing that you avoid all gluten right and anything that resembles gluten and i’m not even recommending consuming gluten-free products just to avoid all grains period gastroparesis is a condition where your digestion is slower it’s not going through fast enough so i think the best thing to do is to acidify the stomach with apple cider vinegar and betaine hydrochloride with each meal i think a really good probiotic is going to be essential just be careful about taking too much because you can overwhelm the system and the other thing is that if you you may find that if you do carnivore um like cut down the fiber you may find that your system does a lot better you may want to test that out and do it for a couple months because a lot of times the fibers can act to irritate your colon especially if you’ve got damage so i would experiment on that great questions guys okay all right next question can probiotics be taken without dr prescription absolutely you can get them at the health food store not a problem and you’d be surprised how many doctors don’t even know much about probiotics so it’s kind of like asking someone for marriage counseling and they never been married okay bruce has a question how long should we do intermittent fasting on my fourth day doing um 231 to 2 i think you meant 23 and one okay all right 23 hours 23 and a half hours okay i got it with only a 30 minute window to eat that’s that’s awesome that’s awesome bruce this is what i would do go by how how hungry you are if you’re not hungry ride the wave and see how long you can go because some people they’re burning their fat they’re doing fine they’re taking their nutrients and then all of a sudden i mean why stop that i think that it’s working so ride the wave and see how long you can go you might just feel better to go longer with your fasting the main thing is getting your nutrients you can do that very easily just by taking supplements but your body is eating when you’re fasting you’re just eating your own fat all right my brother and sister have a problem with a condition which describes the inability to get rid of iron iron overload okay hemochromatosis do you know what could help with their diet their dangerous levels of iron yes i did a video on this you should watch that of course you want to make sure that you do not have any iron in any like supplements i would cut down on red meats right now i would cut down on supplements that have iron for sure you’re going to have to eat a low iron you know low iron food diet and also you probably want to do a key later it’s called edt8 edta no it’s actually let me just write this down what is it e d t a yeah edta it’s a chelater and you can take that and that has been known to reduce iron there’s something else you can take it’s called ip6 it’s a it’s actually phytic acid and it will bind with iron as well so because iron is very very dangerous to the different tissues especially your liver hello i’m here from colombia i get too skinny when i do keto and fasting but i can’t eat carbs because i start to get a a rush in my fingers or a rash probably in your fingers and throw starts to hurt yeah you’re going to have to do increase the level of carbs to maybe 50 grams doing berries and then what you have to do is eat more food okay more quantity of food and also mct oil and more fat and that way your body won’t lose too much weight all right so i’m worried about quarantine is weakening my immune system wow you know that’s a really really good point and unfortunately hopefully you can go in your backyard and get some sun that’s the best thing you can do but um guys so if you’re listening to me right now the most important thing to do right now is to support your immune system they’re not talking about this they’re not this is like really really important zinc vitamin c and vitamin d are vital um because your your body potentially could be strong enough to resist any infection there’s a quite there’s some new reports that show that quite a few more estimated people um were infected then were reported and they basically have barely any symptoms why because your immune system can fight it off um because as soon as you get an infection it’s you have to fight your way out of it it’s difficult and if you have a weakness in your immune system and they even give you medications and things that um can like prednisone for example will actually weaken your immune system now you can’t fight it’s really the immune system is like the key that is missing in this pandemic right now so support your immune system um let’s see here okay good i’ve been doing keto for four months and intermittent fasting like one and a half having two meals a day and lots of veggies but my skin is very dry you need more omega-3 fatty acids so that’s what you need oh gosh ivormectin for treating yeah covet 19. i think the best thing to do is watch my video on that i just did one and you can check that out uh there’s some a lot of great uh positive things about that all right so let’s see here i have amazing questions a lot of them i wish i could answer all of them there’s just so many um let’s see here here we go there we go got one do you think zinc and vitamin b could cure the coronavirus no i don’t think that i think it’s your immune system that does all the curing what zinc does is it supports the immune system at different levels and at many different levels like both sides of the immune system and it i’m telling you it’s like that zinc is probably the most important um nutrient when coming to the immune system and then vitamin d but um it’ll actually kind of help bulletproof you against any type of invading microbe best remedy for breastfeeding milk uh that would be brewer’s yeast okay that helps fortify um i’ve noticed that for the past 12 weeks that i’m getting itchy rash all over different parts of my body like red welts uh disappear and appear been on keto for over a year what’s what’s happening um i think what’s happening you need support on your gallbladder um that’s what i would look at it’s it’s uh there’s something congested in the gallbladder make sure you do intermittent fasting a little longer okay what do you suggest for a woman who had who has heavy period every month and therefore constant anemia red meat red meat red meat that’s what i would recommend you need more um iron for sure [Music] please how many milligrams of zinc daily intake would be recommended as a supplement i mean as a preventative measure i would recommend um you know it could range between like 25 milligrams and 75 milligrams so depending on how the other factors like do you have pre-existing digestive problems do you feel like your immune system is weak then take higher amounts maybe even up to um 100 100 milligrams but then if you have an infection i recommend taking like 225 milligrams so i would say like 50 milligrams would be fine uh could you talk more about cod liver oil and what it does for you yeah the unique thing victoria about cod liver oil is it has four key nutrients instead of two as in fish oils so cod liver oil has not just the omega-3 fatty acids as in dha and epa which are really good for the retina the immune system and the brain and the heart but it also has a good amount of vitamin a and vitamin d that’s why cholera oil is better than fish oil and i am working on getting a capsule form primarily because collard oil goes rancid a pretty you know not terribly quickly but it can and so there’s a way that that freeze dries it under a lower temperature so it’s not destroyed so you can retain it longer and take it in a capsule form all right what are the best foods and supplements to get energy of course the mitochondrial energy that i have is the best supplement for that but you need b vitamins for energy potassium is also very important electrolyte powder that would help but as far as the foods go the foods that produce energy are foods that generate ketones you get more energy from ketones than anything else than glucose other types of fuel so how do you get into keto you lower your carbs and you do intermittent fasting and you let your body adapt mct oil will give you additional ketones and it’s good if you want to go longer between the meals and it’s also good for exercise endurance and performance so you can get some mct oil as well but you want to get a healthy keto all right let’s see we got here i think i just already answered that question is it true that red hot chili pepper powder is consumed in a glass water can treat heart clots please answer well i don’t know if it can treat hard clots i do know that it’s low dose vitamin c i know it’s a powerful antioxidant but what causes heart clots usually is high levels of insulin so you’d want to go on keto low carb and vitamin e is also very very essential as well okay that’s what is the best medication or food for hyperthyroidism 90 of all cases of hyperthyroidism are hashimoto’s that’s an autoimmune condition okay it’s an autoimmune condition in which case you would want to support your gut so you need a probiotic and you need like good fiber and that would be very important the mineral selenium and the mineral zinc both are equally as important in that in the thyroids but also if if you’re um if your gallbladder is not working that well or you have a fatty liver that could be the reason why you have a thyroid problem because you have to convert to the liver so it’s very important to support the liver if you have a thyroid issue okay laura said hi dr burger i do keto and in my meal i allow myself to eat a small portion of pastry cake is this good or should i delete it all right laura listen no no no no no it’s not gonna you actually will not get the benefit of keto if you do that because all it takes is a small portion of pastry to completely knock you out of keto so you’re not going to get into keto it’ll mess things up what you can make is you can make a keto friendly pastry and that’s what i would recommend it’s totally fine all right ivan do you suggest long-term fasting i’ve gone up to five days on water and black coffee if so how often should i practice it i would do that once a month i think that would be really really great and the other thing is you want to make sure you’re taking nutrients to make sure you’re not deficient in anything okay okay i’m going to take a question from the text this is from christine miller keto and if is great for me but how do i keep my milk up and healthiest for the baby okay you mentioned brewer’s yeast that will make my breastfeeding possible on the iaf and keto if you if you get on keto and you take nutritional yeast or bruise yeast your your milk will be fortified a lot more there’s some other things that i think will make your breast milk like super super um nutrient dense and that would be fish eggs or caviar um you can also do fish oils cod of oil very very important trace minerals all these things are really important including zinc as well okay because that supports the hormones that help you make um breast milk what are some recommendations yeah okay good so i answer that question good questions guys all right oh gosh i i you i just missed these great questions here all right let’s see here okay my wife gets choking due to thyroid any suggestions there is a um interesting technique that uses acupressure and if you look at my stress webinar i show how to do acupressure to the back of the neck on the lower part you should just try that it just helps to increase circulation in the neck and i’m not saying it’s going to do anything to the thyroid but you’re going to find that the obstruction the sensation of choking probably will be relieved so i would check that out can i ekg tell you if you have a calcium in your arteries no all it can do is it tells you if you have a rhythm problem rhythmic problem with your heart which is electrolyte problem why apples cause puffiness in your eyes because they’re 19 grams of sugar it’s like eating a candy bar what is the best vitamin for pregnant women currently at seven months and are there specific foods you’re recommending um yeah you definitely need to do keto exactly by the book this is the most important time to eat healthy is when you’re pregnant you have the chance of providing this future child this future being with an incredible first first start for their immune system for their future resistance against health conditions now is the time to do the trace minerals iodine zinc selenium b vitamins omega-3 fatty acids because if you’re deficient that child is going to have issues weaknesses it’s the most important thing okay bulletproof immunity c d um codive oil zinc apple cider vinegar you are correct okay can large amounts of xylitol affect ketosis a little bit because it’s not it’s not perfect it’s not like zero on the glycemic index it’s about 30. so it does affect the blood sugars a little bit that’s why you want to keep it you know small amounts i just want to thank you because of you my son is healthy today he started keto diet three years ago and had all kinds those okay another question is how to make homemade electrolytes at home well you can actually just buy the minerals individually as powders mix them together and then sweeten with stevia and then you’re good to go just make sure that the electrolytes are not from china um there are many different electrolyte powders out there that are uh cheap they’re copycat products that are actually cheaper and that’s because they get them from china and they’re gmo and so you want to ask the company for verification that they’re non-gmo and not from china you’d be surprised you’re not going to get an answer for them so um because ninety percent of a lot of these synthetic vitamins come from china and for and it’s hard to tell what’s going to be legit or not all right does it is it real that covet 19 sometimes kills people suddenly without any warning like those people that i’ve seen in the media dying in this church no no it doesn’t just kill you instantly it’s it’s it’s 99.2 of the problem is is people who have pre-existing health problems um it’s really the people with weak immune system that’s the that’s where you’re gonna have a problem and um some interesting data on the stats uh i don’t know if you knew this but there’s more people who died last year and the year before then this year around this time yeah interesting so they’re definitely hyper focusing on every death right now but i think when they look up the stats um it’s not going to be exactly what they’re saying all right um so there’s like a lot of people that are trying to put you in fear right now um and i don’t want to get too deep into it but i will say that it’s very important not to go into the fear mode because fear lowers your immune system this is why it’s very dangerous to watch the news 24 7. okay angelique angelica what would have gone wrong during my pregnancy with my daughter was diagnosed with vitiligo at age eight nine with no history of either side that’s usually an autoimmune that needs to be supported with good probiotics i wouldn’t even say that she couldn’t improve some of that by taking zinc and supporting a healthy immune system and supporting the adrenal but it could have been a weakness within the adrenal glands or in the digestive system okay one more question um can i call your office set up an in-house person consultation no i don’t do consultations anymore
