Different Ways Zinc Influences the Coronavirus
New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?
More specifically, you want help with Different Ways Zinc Influences the Coronavirus?
so the question today is can zinc actually kill the coronavirus now if you have not seen my other videos one of the videos I talked about this drug called chloroquine okay this is a malaria drug in certain countries like South Korea and China are using a derivative of this drug and the way that this drug kills off a virus which is not necessarily the typical way a drug would affect something this specific drug acts as a zinc ionophore which basically means that it allows zinc to penetrate your cells okay and once that zinc gets inside the cell it stops the production of the copy machine that is reproducing so zinc blocks the replication of the virus now there’s been quite a few opposing viewpoints on this where people say well it’s just anecdotal evidence it hasn’t been tested to really make sure that this is gonna work before we attempt it well I want to read you something that I think you’ll find quite interesting on March 13 2020 James todaro MD working in consultation with the researchers from the Stanford University Medical School the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine the National Academy of Sciences presented a report entitled an effective treatment for coronavirus covered 19:00 and here’s the report summary recent guidelines from South Korea and China report that chloroquine is an effective antiviral therapeutic treatment against the coronavirus disease 2019 use of chloroquine is showing favorable outcomes in humans infected with coronavirus including faster time to recovery in shorter hospital stays u.s. cdc research shows that chloroquine also has and this is in bold strong potential as a prophylactic that means preventative measure against coronavirus in the lab while we wait for a vaccine to be developed chloroquine is an inexpensive globally available drug that has been in widespread human use since 1945 against malaria autoimmune in various other conditions for example data from the clinical trials in China show that patients treated with chloroquine demonstrated a better drop in fever improvement in lung CT images and required a shorter time to recover compared to parallel groups and chloroquine has so far shown no obvious serious adverse reactions in more than a hundred participants in the trial and check this out chloroquine was selected after several screening rounds of thousands of existing drugs and is undergoing further trials in more than ten hospitals throughout China and there’s just one more dr. William grace an oncologist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City had this to say everyone is using it now off-label he’s talking about chloroquine we have a surge of coronavirus 19 patients throughout the metropolitan area of New York and the problem is these patients are coming in quite sick and when they get to a very difficult respiratory status doctors are using hydroxychloroquine that’s a derivative of chloroquine with or without antibiotics and that’s showing tremendous activity and we have not had a death in our Hospital we have probably close to a hundred patients and not had any deaths and I talked to my colleagues at other hospitals in New York and they are using hydroxychloroquine although the supplies are running low so any kind of supplements to those supplies would be much appreciated in the trenches we’re using it especially for the desperately ill people we’re not using it on everyone but we’re using it on those people who show major respiratory compromise so there is some credible data that shows the relationship between this drug allowing zinc to kill the virus or at least inactivate the virus but what I want to talk about is what zinc can do for the immune system this goes beyond just killing the virus zinc has the ability to fight fever zinc is a mitogen what is a managin it’s something that causes the immune system to grow and respond to a pathogen especially a virus one of the symptoms of zinc deficiency is your thymus atrophies the thymus gland is a very important immune gland and when you’re deficient in zinc guess what it shrinks if you’re deficient in zinc one of the symptoms of a zinc deficiency is lymphopenia what is that that is decrease lymphocytes guess what the lymphocyte is part of your army it’s the main soldier that defends your body against microbes and viruses next one an enlarged spleen is a symptom of a zinc deficiency the spleen is another key organ involved in the immune system also there’s a great importance of zinc for bone marrow and this is one key location where you make white blood cells zinc is also involved in supporting your lungs and protecting your lungs against pathogens in fact there’s a very high percentage of people with pneumonia that are zinc deficient the more infectious someone is the less think they have in the body because zinc is needed by your immune cells zinc has another property of being an anti-inflammatory so it has the potential of reducing inflammation especially in the lungs zinc also decreases your susceptibility to viruses and other pathogens it will decrease the duration of infections and it also can act as a preventative measure so why would someone wait until you have an infection or a virus to take zinc when it can actually act to protect you against infections so the bottom line is you can see the importance of zinc in the immune system it’s not just important in killing something off it’s vitally important in a strong immune system and when we’re dealing with the corona virus were really dealing with it targeting someone’s a weakened immune system so if you want to know more about zinc and what foods to eat to increase your zinc levels check out this video right here

4:23 Zinc and the immune system
Today we’re going to talk about zinc and the coronavirus. Can zinc actually kill the coronavirus?
In one of my other videos, I talk about a drug called chloroquine. Chloroquine is a malaria drug. There have been derivatives of this drug used in other countries as a coronavirus treatment.
This specific drug acts as a zinc ionophore, which means it allows zinc to penetrate your cells. Once the zinc is inside of the cell, it can stop the replication of the virus.
There was a report done titled, “An effective treatment for coronavirus COVID-19.” The report summary explains that “chloroquine is showing favorable outcomes in humans infected with coronavirus including faster time to recovery and shorter hospital stays.” It also “has strong potential as a prophylactic (preventative) measure in the lab, while we wait for a vaccine to be developed.”
There are some credible data that shows the relationship between chloroquine allowing zinc to kill the virus or at least inactivate the virus.
Zinc has a ton of benefits for the immune system that go beyond killing the virus.
• Zinc has the ability to fight a fever.
• Zinc is a mitogen (it causes the immune system to grow and respond to a pathogen).
• The thymus gland is a very important immune gland, and when you have a zinc deficiency, it shrinks.
• One symptom of a zinc deficiency is lymphopenia, which is decreased lymphocytes.
• A symptom of a zinc deficiency is an enlarged spleen. The spleen is a key organ involved in the immune system.
• Zinc is important for bone marrow, which is a key location where you make white blood cells.
• Zinc is involved in supporting your lungs and protecting the lungs against pathogens.
• Zinc can potentially reduce inflammation, especially in the lungs.
• Zinc can decrease your susceptibility to viruses and pathogens.
• Zinc can decrease the duration of infections.
• Zinc can act as a preventative measure.
Zinc is vitally important in making a strong immune system. The coronavirus targets a weakened immune system.

Thanks for watching! Zinc is not only important in killing a virus (potentially including the coronavirus), it’s also vitally important in creating a healthy immune system.
