New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with How to Get Rid of Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles?

I had a lot of requests for this video today we're going to show you how to very a to b get rid of puffy eyes as well as the dark circles around the eyes and it just so happens that the underlying cause or at least the most common cause of both of these conditions is the same thing which is very very .

Good but typically when you research on this you're going to find well it's just fatigue it's lack of sleep you're stressed it's a hypothyroid condition it's called hashimoto's where you're having this lymphatic tissue that's backing up into the system .

Or it might be an early sign of epstein-barr virus or maybe it's alcohol or maybe it's allergy right well i'm just going to tell you these are not very common causes of dark circles underneath the eyes or puffy eyes now it is true if you have damaged kidneys you are going to definitely have .

Puffiness around the eyes okay it's not as common as the thing i'm going to talk about but it can happen and the reason why it happens is you're getting this uh this fluid backing up into the tissues it's called interstitial fluid retention because there's a loss of protein in the urine and a loss of protein in your .

Blood so anytime you don't have enough albumin which is a protein in your blood you start retaining fluid and you can get edema and puffiness around the eyes transverse bands on your nails so if you see a couple uh i don't know horizontal bands around your fingers you might want to get your kidneys checked and there could be parasites .

Okay that's another cause as well but let's talk about the most common cause of both puffiness and dark circles underneath your eyes and the answer is hyperinsulinemia what is that that is too much insulin in your blood you have insulin resistance which is causing your .

Pancreas to produce too much insulin to compensate so that's really what's happening you see this a lot in early diabetics type 2 and you see it nearly always in pre-diabetics and of course the majority of the rest of the population has insulin resistance so you probably see this very common in people you can look at their eyes and if they .

Have this puffiness around the eyes and this darkened pigment suspect they've been eating a lot of carbs because it's the carbs that is the big trigger to this high level of insulin now another condition that you see with insulin resistance as well as hyperinsulinemia .

Is acanthosis cancer what does that mean that's a condition where you have darkened folds on your body like underneath your armpits like a darkened band on your neck you might see it under the armpits or next to the breast tissue but that condition which is a .

Hyper pigmentation problem is also caused by high levels of insulin so the more insulin you have the more melanin that's pumped out and that can show up in a darker layer of skin now of course if you're consuming all these carbs right and you have high levels of insulin and insulin resistance you're going to be .

One big fluid retaining sponge okay you're going to be holding fluid all over the place and one common area that you see it is in the ankles and then the other one is in the eyes right underneath the eyes or on the top of the eyelid too so i mean i could look at someone and go wow that guy's eating carbs you could just see .

Their eyes are all puffy and usually they don't have a clue that that is the reason why they think it's maybe genetic or it's a lack of sleep but it's actually the carbs and also carbs cause the retention of sodium so they're holding sodium yet they're very very deficient in .

Potassium so what can be done about this there's four things that you can do right now to reverse this okay number one stop eating carbs you can't get rid of this without stopping carbs okay that's number one number two stop snacking okay .

Snacking is a killer every time you eat guess what you trigger insulin so you have to stop snacking and number three you have to start with something called intermittent fasting so intermittent fasting is a pattern of eating and not eating you want to combine that with your low carb diet we call it a ketogenic plan the combination .

Of low carb and intermittent fasting without snacking of course is powerful to handle the bags as well as the dark circles now there's one more thing you can do to speed things up and that is to start taking potassium or consume foods high in potassium not bananas okay or potatoes you want to do things like beet greens .

In your salad uh more salad itself like seven to ten cups you want to do avocados and avocados like 800 milligrams of potassium you can do broccoli mushrooms they're all very high in potassium so that's the four things number one stop your carbs stop your snacking start doing intermittent .

Fasting and start to beef up no pun intended your potassium and watch those bags go away and also watch the darkened circles underneath the eyes go away that's usually going to take a little bit longer could take between two three maybe in four weeks before you start noticing a difference now if you haven't .

DATA:

Today I’m going to cover how to get rid of puffy eyes and dark circles under the eyes. While puffy eyes and dark circles under the eyes could be caused by things like fatigue or even damaged kidneys, these aren’t common causes.

The most common cause of puffy eyes and dark circles under the eyes is hyperinsulinemia. Hyperinsulinemia basically means that you have too much insulin in your blood.

A person with hyperinsulinemia has insulin resistance, which causes the pancreas to produce too much insulin. Insulin resistance is caused by consuming sugar and refined carbs.

If you have insulin resistance, you retain a lot of fluid all over the body, including the eyes. Carbs also cause retention of sodium and a deficiency of potassium.

How to get rid of puffy eyes and dark circles:
1. Stop eating carbs
2. Stop snacking
3. Start doing intermittent fasting
4. Start taking potassium or consume foods high in potassium

What Really Causes Puffy Eyes and Bags…

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with What Really Causes Puffy Eyes and Bags…?

hey guys dr. Burke here in this video we’re going to talk about how to get rid of puffy eyes in those bags and Neath the eyes okay now I’m just let you know the cucumber slices don’t really work long-term or creams and everything this is all an internal problem it’s mainly a kidney problem now I can see people across the street look at their eyes and are all puffy and I’m like oh that’s a kidney issue now anytime you have a kidney issue you’re going to have a liver issue so they’re almost similar in problems you can’t have a really sick kidney and a healthy liver okay because they both work together but the kidney is a detoxifier it basically takes all your blood it’s a filter it’s like an oil filter and it filters the blood so here’s what happens with a kidney number one you can speak consuming excess cooked protein too much protein so let’s say you’re sitting down for dinner and you’re just loading up this huge huge plate of chicken wings or chicken fingers and you have absolutely no vegetables nothing to counter that use getting a lot of protein that’s going to eventually turn into your gas crystals and a lot of excessive waste because your body can’t process more than a certain amount of protein so anything extra yura strains the kidneys and the liver okay so a protein can mess it up in large amounts how much protein do you need three to six ounces that’s just a little bit you don’t need tremendous amounts so excessive protein in too little vegetable people that have the bags have the kidney problems usually don’t ever eat vegetables okay they don’t you need to start doing that if you have this problem because this also relates to the potassium levels in the body you have so much potassium in so much sodium they work together and fluid retention usually as a sodium excess well if you just have your normal potassium amounts that alone will flush out the sodium and get rid of the fluid so we need four times as much potassium to sodium so a lot of people have it reversed they’re doing four times as much sodium to potassium and they’re just like fluid waterlog and you can see it in the ankles there’s pitting edema but this situation it’s really the vegetable has the most of the potassium and then you’re not going to get a lot of potassium from proteins so then we have alcohol right so alcohol messes with your kidney it messes with your liver it creates the bags a lot of people think it’s normal to drink alcohol on a regular basis they drink a bottle of wine two bottles of wine and you think well that’s fine well here’s the question can you give it up if you can’t give it up then you’re probably addicted okay so then we have the MSG monosodium glutamate Monsanto glutamate is a flavor enhancer it’s in all the Chinese restaurants and they hide it not as must monosodium glutamate they hide it as modified food starch and what it’s a lot of sodium that’s not salty so you’re going to walk away and just drink fluid and you’re just like going to fill up with fluid really fast so it’s a water retainer and it’s a flavor enhancer it also spikes insulin too and then we have just straight sugar and junk food that’s going to mess with your kidneys so we need 4700 milligrams of potassium that would be 7 to 10 cups of vegetables a lot of times people say well I don’t want to have much potassium because I heard that it might damage the kidneys let me let me just give you the truth in the kidney unless you’re on kidney dialysis unless you’re staged like a real bad kidney where you’re like end-stage kidney failure everything else you can do potassium the fact it’s shown that potassium protects the kidney it doesn’t worsen the kidney you need potassium to protect the kidney it’s just that when the kidney is so damaged you can’t process the potassium and it starts to increase because you’re not getting rid of it so you need so much potassium but your body gets rid of that much potassium every day too so the kidneys can do that you could end up with a lot of potassium which is dangerous to the heart but again for those of you they aren’t good analysis okay you can’t do the potassium but the cool thing is we’re not even talking about taking in the supplement we’re just taking getting it from vegetables so you’re going to be more safe with that then you have another cause of kidney problems which would be the prostate enlargement what happens the prostate when it enlarges it actually pushes up into the bladder okay it pushed up in the bladder and it restricts the amount of year and the bladder can hold and then the urine backs up through these two little pipes are called the ureters okay and they go right to the kidney and then what happens the kidneys can’t filter the urine so it backs up in the kidneys start getting larger and larger so that’s really what what messed up the kidney too is having a prostate enlargement I had one guy and all we did is some simple acupressure you can actually work on these points with a massage tool you can work on them and it’s interesting what will happen you’ll have it probably really tight and painful and congested you do it lightly and you keep working it out I’ve had so many people do that and all of a sudden just dump all this excess fluids from their bodies it’s quite dramatic so that’s just a side point so we got the kidney and then number two we have blood sugars so usually when someone’s hypoglycemic insulin resistance or a diabetic they usually a puffiness underneath the eyes just because wherever the sugar goes that the water goes so they have a lot of water retention in pockets and the ankles in the hands in the eyes I mean underneath the eyes so what you want to do is if you have blood sugar issues you want to do three to six ounces of protein with each meal don’t don’t do a lot but don’t cut it out completely because you need some 7 cups of vegetables that’s not hard to do right you probably need more but that’s a good start that will increase and help the blood Sugar’s and help insulin regulate itself and then we need a little healthy fat to allow you to go from one meal to the next so we’re not snacking so that’s just I’ll put some links down below if this is your first video and you’ve never seen the data on how to and correct blood Sugar’s but that would be one cause as far as the kidneys the kidneys do well on a lot of vegetables a little bit of protein and just so happens one of the things that are good for the kidney is the kidney bean what a coincidence it’s shaped like a kidney all right so apply this information all right guys so thank you so much for watching i’ll see in the next video
