DRINK 1 CUP PER DAY to Remove Fat from Your Liver – Dr. Berg

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with DRINK 1 CUP PER DAY to Remove Fat from Your Liver – Dr. Berg?

So what's all this talk about this this liver thing is is it that important do we really need a liver yes you need a healthy liver and the problem is the majority of population has a fatty liver and a lot of people don't even know that they have fat in the liver until they get an ultrasound or they get a cat scan and then they're .

They're shocked so i think it's number one important understand about the liver and the importances as well as how to get the fat out of the liver there's a great simple thing that you can do which i'm going to talk about and there's also a drink that you can make every day to reduce fat on your liver and with .

Some pretty good science behind it and i'm going to put those links down below with each of the ingredient that i'm going to talk about the first thing i want to mention about the liver is that people don't realize that bile is made by the liver they think it's made by the gallbladder no the .

Gallbladder is just a sac that holds the bile but i want to talk about the importance of bile for a second because the liver makes the bile and the more you understand about what bile does you'll appreciate the liver much much more now bile is a detergent that helps you break down fat .

But exactly what does that mean break down fat let's say for example this is some fat okay and this is traveling through the stomach you just ate some fat and it's going to be now going down into the small intestine so the stomach will kind of break it down to a certain level but then we need help from the gallbladder .

Releasing bile to act on this this big clump of fat right so the problem is that um bile needs help to break this thing down and it uses help from the pancreas there's an enzyme and the pancreas called lip base okay lipid meaning fat ace meaning enzyme the problem is that .

In order for lipase to do its job it needs the bile's help and what the bile is going to do it's going to break down this significantly so there's more surface area for the enzyme to act on so this is what bile does so the file starts to break this down into small little pieces .

Here so let me just kind of break all that down right here all right so now we have a much greater surface area of fat for the enzyme lipase to do its job okay so .

Simply bile increases the surface area of fat so you can get more of a complete digestion of that fat in the extraction into the small intestine that's where it gets absorbed so without enough bile then the enzyme can't do its job and now you don't get enough vitamin a the first .

Symptom of a vitamin a deficiency is like night blindness so you're you're driving at night it's raining and you just can't quite see it's hard to see at night okay night vision that's vitamin a i mean vitamin a also counters bad sinus problems if you have an immune system issue so if you have really bad .

Sinuses chances are you could be deficient in vitamin a but vitamin a does a lot of other things as well then we have a lack of vitamin e well that could show up in your heart so maybe you get more inflammation in the heart in the coronary arteries which shows up as calcification higher levels of cholesterol plaquing .

Things like that other than that it probably won't do anything else i'm being very sarcastic then we have vitamin d let's say you can't absorb vitamin d well that's a big problem because you need it for getting rid of pain you need it for decreasing blood pressure you need it .

For the formation of calcium in your bones and as well as the absorption of calcium in the small intestine so if you don't have vitamin d the rate of absorption of calcium is like way way lower with vitamin d you absorb 20 times as much calcium as if you didn't have it so now you have all sorts of calcium problems like bone loss .

And problem sleeping at night and you name it then we have vitamin k with vitamin k1 and vitamin k2 if you're deficient in vitamin k1 then you get bruising easily you bleed easily you can't clot as well and with vitamin k2 a deficiency of that you have a calcium building up in the arteries as well as the joints .

Then we have other fats like omega-3 fatty acids you need that to keep your inflammation really low and without enough omega-3 fatty acids you have all sorts of inflammatory conditions arthritis heart problems even dementia because of the involvement in your brain .

Your brain apparently needs a lot of omega-3 fatty acids now the other thing that bile does is it helps get rid of the excess amount of cholesterol let's say for example you decide you're going to lose weight and you get on the ketogenic diet and now all this fat cell is releasing its triglyceride .

And its cholesterol that's what's in a fat cell the combination of triglycerides which is can be used for energy and also cholesterol which can't be used as energy so we need bile to help eliminate that excess amount of cholesterol so if you don't have enough bile .

Because you don't have enough capacity of liver function then you end up with gallstones gallstones are created by a super concentrated cholesterol situation because there's not enough bile to emulsify and break it down so we get this crystallization of cholesterol so when people have .

Gallstones they actually need more bile they don't need necessarily less cholesterol and then you also have people that are on statin drugs which basically block the production of cholesterol and guess what bile is made out of cholesterol this is why the risk goes way up .

In getting gallstones and all these other issues if someone's on a statin and then the other big important purpose of bile salts is to help eliminate toxins and now your body becomes instantly more toxic because you don't you can't get rid of the toxins that are floating to the liver because the purpose of the .

Liver is not to store toxins it's to break down toxins into harmless particles so if you can't break them down then and you're taking medication and you're being exposed to planet earth boy you get a lot of extra poisonous things that are flooding through the bloodstream and through your body so we really need this liver to work correctly .

Another symptom of a fatty liver is that you start getting a heavier liver it becomes enlarged and that pressure doesn't fit in the cavity anymore on the right side so it backs up and it puts pressure into the right side of your neck up to here to the shoulder so you get .

Shoulder pain uh you get a lot of tension in your right trap and that can create a fullness underneath the right rib cage is one of the symptoms and you know people say well i need to flush out my gallbladder well you know you need to get rid of the fat in the liver it's a little bit different than fleshing out .

Anything which i'm going to explain the other important part about the liver is its conversion function from t4 to t3 your thyroid without a good liver you can't convert the thyroid hormones so you might have hormones there but they're not activated because they can't be converted 80 percent of all the active form of t3 the thyroid .

Hormone works through the liver so without that liver fully functioning maybe you get 70 or 60 or 50 of it being converted and here you are wondering why do i have a thyroid problem there's no reason to have a thyroid problem the problem is not the thyroid it's your liver it's the .

Conversions okay very important the other very important function of the liver is to buffer um certain excesses of sex hormones like estrogen and testosterone it's not good to have too much testosterone or too .

Much estrogen and so without the liver working right you cannot form the proteins to buffer those hormones and so then we have issues like polycystic ovarian syndrome in women which is too much androgen and we also have too much estrogen and even men they start .

Getting all sorts of problems with breast tissue and low testosterone and the list goes on and on and on now because i talked a bit more on bile i do want to mention some other symptoms to try to identify if you have low bile okay number one do you have an .

Intolerance to digesting fat when you eat fat do you find that you get more bloating that would be an indication that you need more bile do you find that your stool is light colored like pale or even gray or does it float or does it leave skid marks that could mean that you're low in bile .

Do you find that after you eat you're just not satisfied well maybe because you're not extracting the fats to be absorbed to then tell the brain like okay i'm done eating that could be a sign that you need more bile if you have nausea or you have indigestion or .

Bloating those can be signs bloating burping belching are classic signs of low bile as well all right so now that you have some basics on the liver and the importance of bile bile is really important into keeping the fat out of the liver so anything you .

Can do to increase bile reserves is going to help you get rid of a fatty liver so some people even take purified bile salts and i did put a link down below for more information on that but today i want to talk about a a really simple shake you can make too to help reduce fat on your liver now i just want to let you know that .

Being on the ketogenic diet as well as doing intermittent fasting together can reduce the fat on your liver by 50 in just 14 days if you haven't seen that video i put that down below so i just wanted to give you that foundation first because it's .

Essential to go on keto and doing intermittent fasting if you have a fatty liver but this shake i'm going to talk about next is a really simple thing everyone can do to keep fat off your liver and it's backed by some pretty good science so the ingredients are simple you're going to use kale .

You're going to use blueberries and you're going to use kefir okay i would use organic cal and organic blueberries and i would keep them in the freezer okay keep them in the freezer they're much easier to blend so you just take your blender out and you take two cups of kale frozen and you can break it up into little chunks just put two cups of .

Kale in there because it blends really nicely when it's cold and it tastes better too and then you put one cup of blueberries blueberries not only have curicin but so does kale kirsoten is the ultimate weapon against the fatty liver not to mention its involvement in many other aspects of your health including having a stronger immune system but .

Kercetin is a is a fabulous vital nutrient to target a fatty liver but there's many other things in kale and blueberries that also help you with fatty liver and liver function in general so we take two cups of frozen kale okay put in a blender we take one cup of frozen blueberries okay we put a cup of water and we also put .

One cup of plain whole fat kefir okay don't get the flavored kind don't get the sweetened kind get the organic if possible grass-fed if possible whole milk plain kefir that's going to give you the probiotics that you need to reduce fat on your liver so we have the water the kefir the kale and the blueberries and .

Then you're going to simply blend this up for a couple minutes okay and blend it up really nicely and then chug it down it tastes really good and it's extremely effective in reducing fat on your liver and do that every single day in combination with a healthy keto diet as well as intermittent fasting now if you haven't seen my video on how to .

Reduce a fatty liver within 14 days put it right here check it out you

Many people have a fatty liver and don’t even know it. Today I want to help you better understand the liver and how to remove fat from the liver.

The purpose of the liver is to break down toxins into harmless particles.

A fatty liver can become heavy and enlarged. This can lead to fullness under the right rib cage and shoulder pain.

Important functions of the liver:
• It makes bile
• It helps convert thyroid hormones
• It buffers excess sex hormones

Bile is made by the liver, and it helps you break down fat. A lack of bile can lead to a lot of various health problems. Bile is also very important to keep fat out of the liver. Anything you can do to help increase bile reserves will help you remove liver fat. You may even want to take purified bile salts.

Keep in mind that the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting can help remove fat from the liver. I believe this is essential if you have a fatty liver.

A great shake to keep fat off the liver:
Ingredients (organic if possible):
• 2 cups kale (frozen)
• 1 cup blueberries (frozen)
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup plain whole-milk kefir (organic and grass-fed if possible)

Instructions:
Blend all of the ingredients in a blender for a couple of minutes. Drink once a day in combination with a Healthy Keto diet and intermittent fasting.

The BEST Respiratory Mucus and Phlegm Remedy for Lung and Sinuses

The BEST Respiratory Mucus and Phlegm Remedy for Lung and Sinuses

The BEST Respiratory Mucus and Phlegm Remedy for Lung and Sinuses

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with The BEST Respiratory Mucus and Phlegm Remedy for Lung and Sinuses?

I want to give you a great formula for respiratory health whether you have mucus or you're overcoming some type of immune response this is what i consider the perfect formula for supporting your lungs now of course check with your doctor before implementing any of my suggestions .

This is not meant to replace your medical care this is just meant to give you a good potential solution to help you pull yourself out of a lung situation and help you breathe because breathing is a good thing nowadays all right what you're going to need is you're going to need a nebulizer .

What's a nebulizer well it's a little device that can turn liquid into a mist so you can inhale the material that you're trying to use to help remedy your lung situation so you're going to use this nebulizer twice a day okay now this is what you're going to put in the nebulizer it's all based around one cup of water .

So the first thing you're going to add is about a fourth of a teaspoon of sea salt i like himalayan sea salt but you can use any of the good high quality sea salt and so the first thing gonna do is you're gonna dissolve it in the water so that's step one now salt water is great for .

Breaking up mucus helping you breathe better uh just like if you're at the ocean you're just gonna naturally breathe better so there's a lot of great properties in sea salt it's it's you know to some degree it's like a probiotic because there are friendly microbes in the salt and there's not a .

Lot of pathogens that actually live and thrive in sea salt so sea salt is antimicrobial all right the next thing you're going to put into this concoction is one drop of garlic oil okay why garlic oil garlic oil is probably one of the most potent antimicrobial potent anti-pathogenic .

Remedies that i know about and so if there's anything unfriendly living in your sinuses or in your lungs garlic is going to make it very very hard for those pathogens to exist especially in the virus family now the next remedy i'm going to recommend is one drop of black seed oil the remedy black seed has been .

Around for a very very long time like thousands of years one of the things that i like about it it's great for your lungs it's a bronchodilator so it can actually open up your lungs and allow you to breathe better it's also a very very potent anti-microbial it's a very very potent anti-inflammatory .

All right the next part of this remedy is you're going to get some povidone iodine another name for that would be betadine but you're going to use two drops of this iodine okay add two drops iodine is a known remedy for supporting everything respiratory as well as everything microbial so iodine makes it .

Very difficult for these pathogens to survive so iodine is a really good remedy for supporting healthy lungs and i will put some interesting research in the description down below that you definitely want to study so you're not just taking my word for it .

Now the last thing i want to recommend it's optional i do recommend it but colloidal silver has been around for 125 years at least i think it was 1938 it was even used as a natural antibiotic so colloidal silver is these suspended .

Particles of silver in a solution and it's a great remedy for so many things i used to give my kids i used to take it myself you can put it in a neti pot you can just put it in your mouth you can even put it in your eye if there's an infection so it's it's quite safe and it's quite effective so i would use five drops of colloidal .

Silver so just mix all this stuff up and do your nebulizer experience twice a day and start to breathe again so you can sleep better and you can function and break up some of this mucus that tends to be lodged in your respiratory tract now if you haven't seen my video on sea salt .

And your lungs i put that right here check it out you

Grow THIN Hair into THICK Hair – Dr. Berg

Grow THIN Hair into THICK Hair – Dr. Berg

Grow THIN Hair into THICK Hair – Dr. Berg

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with Grow THIN Hair into THICK Hair – Dr. Berg?

Today we're going to talk about how to grow very thick hair now to be totally 100 transparent i do sell products that help stimulate hair growth as well as a shampoo and conditioner that also supports the growth of hair but i am 100 .

Non-biased of my own products and that's 100 sarcasm all right now that i got that out of the way let's dive right into the video all right the first thing i want to talk about is iron okay what is iron iron is a mineral that is involved in building up your .

Hemoglobin okay that's the stuff that helps you carry oxygen through your blood and if you don't have hemoglobin in the scalp you're not going to have oxygen for the little roots of the hair follicles and without iron you're literally starving .

That hair of oxygen so it can grow it needs oxygen to grow but it's very easy to get iron especially if you're not a vegan just a little red meat a few times a week will give you plenty of iron but you can also get iron in eggs and cheese it's in a lot of different foods all right .

Zinc if you're deficient in zinc which a lot of people are you're going to have a real problem growing thick hair the hair is going to come out very very thin zinc is involved in hundreds of different enzymes especially with making proteins okay and your hair is protein so without zinc you .

Don't get good growth of the hair and you don't get the thickness of the hair that you really want and the hair will dry out okay so zinc is very important here skin nails things like that um a little red meat again will give you enough zinc now there's a condition called telogen effluvium okay now what is that that is .

A condition triggered by shock or stress that makes your hair fall out and become very very thin okay and very very fragile and that is because of this thing called stress so if you uh go through pregnancy for example and you wonder why your hair is thinning out well that's why or let's say you have .

Some emotional stress or a loss of a loved one or surgery or an accident or you over exercise all these things can raise cortisol then cortisol then causes you to increase the requirement of zinc and if you're already deficient in zinc then you're going to have a problem with your hair .

Intelligent effluvian is basically hair shedding which is temporary caused by stress now if you consume a lot of alcohol or you consume a lot of sugar or for some reason you get a lot of copper all these conditions are going to create a zinc deficiency so just realize that low zinc creates all sorts of problems with .

Your hair and there's many different ways you can become deficient and i pointed out quite a few shellfish are probably the best source of zinc like oysters but you can also get in red meat all right the next point i want to bring up is omega-3 fatty acids so if you don't like fish or for .

Some reason you don't like cod liver oil i don't know why anyone would have the aversion to i don't know eating cod liver well because it's so delicious you could end up having a deficiency of omega-3 fatty acids now if you have you know the typical diet that most americans have you're going to be very very high in omega 6 fatty acids and .

That can create the deficiency of omega 3 fatty acids and that could be the reason why your hair is becoming very very thinned but make sure you get enough salmon or cod liver oil for your omega-3 fatty acids plus omega-3 fatty acids are very anti-inflammatory so if you have alopecia for example .

You have too much inflammation next very important ingredient to making thick hair is vitamin d vitamin d is just so important in hair growth it directly stimulates the growth of hair and a lot of people are deficient a lot of people take vitamin d .

But they're either not absorbing it because they don't have the other cofactors let's say for example they're deficient in bile and they can't break it down for some reason or they have some type of gut issue which they just you know the gut's not able to absorb it but vitamin d is very very important try to get your vitamin d from the sun of .

Course in the winter you can't do that vitamin d is really important in the immune aspects of hair both inflammation and autoimmunity when we get to hair because certain people have an autoimmune condition that causes the hair to fall out of their scalp those particular people .

Need a lot more vitamin d than other people so i'm talking about 40 000 or maybe even 50 000 iu's per day all right selenium okay selenium very important in thyroid health and converting t4 to t3 and as you may already know if you have .

A slow thyroid that alone can stop your ability to grow hair but selenium is a important antioxidant for the hair to reduce inflammation to definitely counter alopecia and um also dandruff have you heard of cells in blue that's a selenium sulfate compound if i'm not mistaken and .

That actually inhibits the fungus that causes dandruff so selenium is very important in different aspects of of hair and scalp but just taking one brazil nut can give you enough selenium okay all right so then we have biotin so biotin is essential to enhance the keratin the type of protein that hair is .

Made out of and the strength of it biotin is essential for that and your own microbiome makes biotin and so this is why when someone gets an antibiotic they could end up with thinning of the hair and they're wondering why because you just wiped out your good bacteria that's supposed to make that specific type of b vitamin but .

A lot of people experience great results with biotin for thickening of the hair so that's another element that i wanted to bring up all right the next one is low folate um i would never recommend taking folic acid which is the synthetic version of folate always take folate or the active form of folate there's .

Different forms but you want to get a natural form but folate is a co-factor for many different proteins in the body including hair skin and your nails so without folate you're going to have a hard time um .

Fully developing the protein necessary in certain parts of your body but it's very easy to get folate to start consuming salads on a regular basis and you'll definitely have enough folate it's in the dark leafy greens all right vitamin c essential for collagen and your hair is part collagen so vitamin c is very very necessary of .

Course i would never recommend the synthetic version of vitamin c get a natural version or just get it from the food you can get plenty of vitamin c from sauerkraut from cabbage from berries from .

Bell peppers and pretty much almost every single vegetable having enough vitamin c makes the collagen very very strong and the other thing i want to bring up about the hair especially if you have thinned hair and you want to thicken it is if you start the ketogenic diet and you don't consume enough .

Protein let's say you're not consuming like real food protein you're doing protein powders which i don't recommend i recommend increasing the amount of eggs you eat high quality grass-fed meats and that can actually help you .

Develop thickened hair right off the bat so just don't forget about protein and consuming enough protein the other symptom you're going to notice if you don't have enough protein is you're going to feel tired and lethargic all right i want to give you some other tips one is seek help the cool thing about sea kelp .

For hair is it has the trace minerals it has iodine selenium zinc manganese but it also has the amino acids as well as the b vitamins so it's a really good product for hair growth the other point i'm gonna bring up is over washing your hair .

Okay some people wash their hair way too frequently and that just dries it out it takes the oils out if you use a shampoo that has sulfates it's going to dissolve the protein in the hair uh take out the oil and leave your hair very very damaged so make sure that you don't over wash your .

Hair now of course some people are going to say oh dr berg told me not to shower again no i didn't say that you can shower just don't wash your hair every single day and watch what happens your hair actually will be much much better quality it'll be healthier all right the shampoo that you use very very very vital i would recommend .

Using a shampoo without sulfates with a lot of clean ingredients that don't have side effects but the main thing is get a sulfate free shampoo now i'd also recommend getting a really good conditioner something that has clean ingredients as well as the essential oils and the fats needed that can go into the .

Hair and revive your hair all right the water that you use when you take a shower and so if it has like city water where you're having the fluoride and the chlorine not good just get a filter um i will put some recommendations down below if you can't find one but i'm also having a difficult time .

Finding the shower head it's easy to find the whole house filters but the shower head specifically for fluoride is a tough one but i'll put a link down below the one that i found but when you don't have the fluoride and the chlorine boy does it make your hair shine just without using these chemicals .

Just using good water it's quite amazing all right the coloring if you dye your hair just find someone that can help you use a non-toxic dye there are a lot of chemicals to make your hair a certain color so find something that is more natural even though it costs more it's going to be important in .

The long run all right the next point i'm going to bring up is this thing called stress i've seen people go through emotional losses and literally lose their hair completely so stress can play a huge factor and the quality of the protein being produced in the top of your skull that is because of high .

Levels of cortisol cortisol is very catabolic which means it breaks down proteins so do whatever you can to help reduce stress i have a lot of videos on that i'll put some down below last point i want to bring up is if you're a smoker smoking not only depletes you have .

Nutrients but boy does it dry your hair out it oxidizes the hair it puts a lot of chemicals in in the hair you will find that people that are smokers have very very um dried out old looking hair as well as skin so if you're a smoker do whatever you can to stop smoking all right so now .

That you have some good information about how to grow thicker hair you may want to check out my other video which is very popular on hair growth it's right here check it out

The BEST Foods that Make You Lose the Most Weight – Dr. Berg

The BEST Foods that Make You Lose the Most Weight – Dr. Berg

The BEST Foods that Make You Lose the Most Weight – Dr. Berg

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with The BEST Foods that Make You Lose the Most Weight – Dr. Berg?

You know a lot of people want to know what foods should you be focused on to burn the most fat or to lose the most weight so instead of getting into the details of a diet i wanted to just focus in on the foods and the key foods that have the least effect on insulin okay because .

Insulin is a hormone that even in tiny amounts will block your ability to lose weight insulin is the hormone that converts the carbs that you eat into actual fat so it is the fat making hormone and so if we compile the list of all the foods that have the least effect on insulin you can have the .

Best list to help you lose the most weight now the only thing i want to bring up with this list is uh quantity of protein if you're doing high levels of protein that can potentially slow you down because that can then stimulate insulin but if you're having a moderate amount of protein on this plan you're going to do quite well .

In fact if you keep your protein around around seven grams maybe eight grams per meal uh you're going to be doing very very well and of course if you really want to be successful you really won't only want to do two meals per day or even one meal a day all right let's start with the proteins okay so we have .

All these proteins have less than one gram or zero grams of carbohydrates okay so eggs beef lamb chicken pork veal duck hot dog sausage deli meat organ meats dried meats and pork rinds which is a collagen but also realize that you have to read the ingredients because some of these foods .

Like even deli meats um sausage hot dogs can have hidden sugars like dextrose uh even high fructose corn syrup and even the dried meats can have like beet sugar so you want to avoid meats with sugar all right so that's the protein list and of course tea coffee and water have no carbohydrates so you don't worry about that and then you have apple cider .

Vinegar okay zero carbohydrates seasonings mustard great thing to put on your meat no carbs or less than even a half a gram of carb and then we have monk fruit stevia and erythritol all have zero carbohydrates uh lemon lime very very small amount of carbs it's less than one which is insignificant now .

There are two other things that i want to talk about in relationship to insulin okay pure fat has no effect on insulin now if something is combined with a carb it's going to have more effect on insulin but if you have a pure fat it's going to have no effect on insulin so butter ghee .

Talo lard coconut oil olive oil mct oil whole cream all are pretty much pure fats so those are not going to have an effect on your insulin despite having a lot of calories and so these fats will turn into energy now of course there's always a limitation of matter if you consume an ungodly amount of this .

Yeah potentially it can turn into fat for sure but if at the same time you're not consuming any carbohydrates and you're doing a high fat diet that fat is going to turn into energy and that is because you primed the pump you converted your body over into ketosis so now it's no longer running on glucose so when you feed the fat it turns that .

Into ketones if you still had carbohydrates with fat you wouldn't have this conversion and you wouldn't be able to burn that fat too effectively in fact a lot of fat will be stored as fat i want to mention one thing about this because sometimes you'll see in certain studies it'll say my study .

Showed that mice consuming a high fat diet caused increased weight gain it caused diabetes insulin resistance and then you actually read the study for yourself and you find out the high fat diet that these mice were on .

Were not just a high fat diet notice they did not mention ketogenic diet notice they didn't mention a low carb diet they just mentioned a high fat diet and these high fat diets that they feed mice are also a high carbohydrate diet their carbohydrates that they put in this high fat diet are roughly about 36 percent .

Carbohydrates so it's a high carb high fat diet so that right there invalidates the whole study all right mayonnaise now obviously it doesn't have any carbs but a lot of times it has soy oil or canola oil or cottonseed oil you want to avoid those oils because they're highly inflammatory .

Now avocados do have a good amount of fat they have a good amount of fiber they have some carbohydrate but they're a really good fat vegetable and a also a good fat oil that you can use in your cooking but avocados will not cause you to gain weight mct oil is .

A pure fat will not trigger insulin in fact it converts to ketones very very efficiently all right let's move to the next section of this list there is one carbohydrate that has zero effect on insulin okay that is fiber so when we take the total carb and we minus the fiber we get our net carbs and .

That's what we're looking at when we're calculating this plan we want something to be very very low net carb so this next list are all carbohydrates that have very low amounts of carbs and a good amount of fiber so when we deduct that we come out with a very very small amount of carbohydrates so olives less .

Than one gram of carbohydrate insignificant spinach 1.4 grams net carb now this is all just one cup as we go down the list okay one cup of mushroom that's one gram net carb sprouts one cup one gram net carbs celery that's one this is one stalk not a cup it's less than one gram it's point nine grams uh net carb cucumber one cup 2.5 grams .

Arugula one cup .36 grams net carb that's like one third of a cup arugula is a great vegetable it's cruciferous and it's very very low in carb it'll help you lose weight lettuce one cup point six grams net carb okay this is why i recommend you know seven to ten cups of vegetables because the .

Carbs are so low you don't have to count the carbs as your any calculation of your keto plan and very high in fiber with a lot of potassium bok choy one cup 2.4 grams net carb a very small amount water crest one cup .3 grams net carb out of all the leafy greens i think watercress are the least amount of net carbs okay asparagus one .

Cup 2.3 grams net carb one large pickle 0.5 grams net carb it's like a half a gram insignificant zucchini one cup 2.3 grams net carb cauliflower one cup 3.1 grams of net carb now if you're on the ketogenic plan you're allowed you know up to 50 grams of carbs okay .

Per day so we're talking about one or two maybe potentially three grams of carb it's insignificant all right let's talk about cheese one ounce of gouda cheese less than one gram of net carb blue cheese .7 grams net carb cream cheese .1 gram net carb insignificant parmesan cheese .7 grams net carb in .

Brie cheese 0.7 gram of net carb insignificant all right here's some other ideas you can do a cheese wrap and you can put make your uh your like your sandwiches with your meat and your lettuce and just wrap it with cheese in these cheese wraps that you can get at the store now it's like one gram of net carb so .

Insignificant then you have konjac noodles one bag is one gram you can cook with this as your pasta noodle it's not too bad but there's insignificant amount of carbohydrates compared to pasta which is off the charts all right then we have slim rice which is a .

Looks like rice and it's from the konjac plant and you can put some vegetables in it you should definitely try that one it's pretty cool another thing i want to mention with the bread there's so many people that just cannot give up bread and so there's a great recipe it's .

Simple it's called cloud bread zero carbohydrate okay you just mix eggs cream cheese and cream of tartar i'll put the recipe down below it makes bread i mean it looks like bread it tastes like bread you can put stuff in it it's quite amazing and then we have nox jello okay great for kids you can maybe put some .

Stevia that has different flavors they have lemon and raspberry and strawberry different flavors you can check that out but that has zero grams of carbohydrate so this is your list if you wanted to lose weight and you wanted to keep it really simple just type out this list and you're going to lose a ton of weight .

But sooner or later you're going to want the details of exactly how to do healthy keto intermittent fasting and for that check out my playlist right here

Today, I will cover the absolute best foods to lose weight. These foods support weight loss because they have the least effect on insulin.

Insulin, even in tiny amounts, will block weight loss. Insulin is a hormone that converts the carbs you eat into fat—it’s the fat-making hormone. The foods on this list will barely trigger insulin.

Just be sure to have a moderate amount of protein (7g-8g per meal). If you want to lose weight fast, only consume two meals a day or even one meal a day.

It’s important to keep in mind that pure fat doesn’t affect insulin, and the only carbohydrate that does not trigger insulin is fiber.

How to Get Rid of Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles

How to Get Rid of Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with How to Get Rid of Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles?

I had a lot of requests for this video today we're going to show you how to very a to b get rid of puffy eyes as well as the dark circles around the eyes and it just so happens that the underlying cause or at least the most common cause of both of these conditions is the same thing which is very very .

Good but typically when you research on this you're going to find well it's just fatigue it's lack of sleep you're stressed it's a hypothyroid condition it's called hashimoto's where you're having this lymphatic tissue that's backing up into the system .

Or it might be an early sign of epstein-barr virus or maybe it's alcohol or maybe it's allergy right well i'm just going to tell you these are not very common causes of dark circles underneath the eyes or puffy eyes now it is true if you have damaged kidneys you are going to definitely have .

Puffiness around the eyes okay it's not as common as the thing i'm going to talk about but it can happen and the reason why it happens is you're getting this uh this fluid backing up into the tissues it's called interstitial fluid retention because there's a loss of protein in the urine and a loss of protein in your .

Blood so anytime you don't have enough albumin which is a protein in your blood you start retaining fluid and you can get edema and puffiness around the eyes transverse bands on your nails so if you see a couple uh i don't know horizontal bands around your fingers you might want to get your kidneys checked and there could be parasites .

Okay that's another cause as well but let's talk about the most common cause of both puffiness and dark circles underneath your eyes and the answer is hyperinsulinemia what is that that is too much insulin in your blood you have insulin resistance which is causing your .

Pancreas to produce too much insulin to compensate so that's really what's happening you see this a lot in early diabetics type 2 and you see it nearly always in pre-diabetics and of course the majority of the rest of the population has insulin resistance so you probably see this very common in people you can look at their eyes and if they .

Have this puffiness around the eyes and this darkened pigment suspect they've been eating a lot of carbs because it's the carbs that is the big trigger to this high level of insulin now another condition that you see with insulin resistance as well as hyperinsulinemia .

Is acanthosis cancer what does that mean that's a condition where you have darkened folds on your body like underneath your armpits like a darkened band on your neck you might see it under the armpits or next to the breast tissue but that condition which is a .

Hyper pigmentation problem is also caused by high levels of insulin so the more insulin you have the more melanin that's pumped out and that can show up in a darker layer of skin now of course if you're consuming all these carbs right and you have high levels of insulin and insulin resistance you're going to be .

One big fluid retaining sponge okay you're going to be holding fluid all over the place and one common area that you see it is in the ankles and then the other one is in the eyes right underneath the eyes or on the top of the eyelid too so i mean i could look at someone and go wow that guy's eating carbs you could just see .

Their eyes are all puffy and usually they don't have a clue that that is the reason why they think it's maybe genetic or it's a lack of sleep but it's actually the carbs and also carbs cause the retention of sodium so they're holding sodium yet they're very very deficient in .

Potassium so what can be done about this there's four things that you can do right now to reverse this okay number one stop eating carbs you can't get rid of this without stopping carbs okay that's number one number two stop snacking okay .

Snacking is a killer every time you eat guess what you trigger insulin so you have to stop snacking and number three you have to start with something called intermittent fasting so intermittent fasting is a pattern of eating and not eating you want to combine that with your low carb diet we call it a ketogenic plan the combination .

Of low carb and intermittent fasting without snacking of course is powerful to handle the bags as well as the dark circles now there's one more thing you can do to speed things up and that is to start taking potassium or consume foods high in potassium not bananas okay or potatoes you want to do things like beet greens .

In your salad uh more salad itself like seven to ten cups you want to do avocados and avocados like 800 milligrams of potassium you can do broccoli mushrooms they're all very high in potassium so that's the four things number one stop your carbs stop your snacking start doing intermittent .

Fasting and start to beef up no pun intended your potassium and watch those bags go away and also watch the darkened circles underneath the eyes go away that's usually going to take a little bit longer could take between two three maybe in four weeks before you start noticing a difference now if you haven't .

Seen my new tutorial on how to do keto i put it right here check it out you

DATA:

Today I’m going to cover how to get rid of puffy eyes and dark circles under the eyes. While puffy eyes and dark circles under the eyes could be caused by things like fatigue or even damaged kidneys, these aren’t common causes.

The most common cause of puffy eyes and dark circles under the eyes is hyperinsulinemia. Hyperinsulinemia basically means that you have too much insulin in your blood.

A person with hyperinsulinemia has insulin resistance, which causes the pancreas to produce too much insulin. Insulin resistance is caused by consuming sugar and refined carbs.

If you have insulin resistance, you retain a lot of fluid all over the body, including the eyes. Carbs also cause retention of sodium and a deficiency of potassium.

How to get rid of puffy eyes and dark circles:
1. Stop eating carbs
2. Stop snacking
3. Start doing intermittent fasting
4. Start taking potassium or consume foods high in potassium

What Happens if You STOP Eating Grains for 14 Days?

What Happens if You STOP Eating Grains for 14 Days?

What Happens if You STOP Eating Grains for 14 Days?

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with What Happens if You STOP Eating Grains for 14 Days??

All right what would happen if you gave up all grains for two weeks 14 days that's what we're gonna talk about today and yes i'm talking about the breads pasta the cereal the crackers the biscuits the waffles the pancakes the muffins the donuts etc etc .

As well as the rice and the corn now if we compare giving up sugar for two weeks to giving up grains for two weeks i really think you're gonna have way more benefit giving up the grains for two weeks simply because what these grains do to your gut not only do you have the spike in blood sugar but you also have a .

Lot of inflammation all right let's unpack this topic what's a grain well grain is a seed of grass okay different types of grass and in a grain you have three parts you have the bran which is the fiber part which has some b vitamins you also have .

The germ part which has some b vitamins vitamin e minerals and phytonutrients then you have what's called the endosperm okay that's where you have all the carbohydrate this is where you have some more b .

Vitamins and this is where you have the protein and i'm talking about gluten okay gluten so very few people are consuming just straight whole grain like they don't go and buy this grain and then come home and germinate it soak it you know getting rid of the phytic acid so that way you .

Don't have something that blocks your minerals and then they don't then dry it out and then grind it into flour right away and then turn into bread that's not what happens you go to the store and you either buy the product that's already done or you might buy flour and even if it's whole grain or whole wheat flour it's been sitting on .

The shelf for quite some time now the definition of whole grain is any mixture of bran endosperm germ in proportion one would expect to see intact grain an fda said if it's at least 51 percent whole grain it can be considered or defined as whole grain so you can basically have 49 .

Refined grain with this whole grain in its whole grain so here's the problem as soon as they grind the grain okay they expose it to air and light and oxygen that right there oxidizes and destroys the delicate fatty acids the delicate .

Vitamins this is why back in the 20s and 30s and 40s they started to fortify grains okay they started to add some so-called nutrients back into the grains because .

Quite a few people were ending up with diseases like pellegra which is a severe b3 deficiency uh and beriberi which is a severe b1 deficiency and i think i recall a report even in the early 1900s there were like 7 000 people who died of pelegra which is the b3 deficiency because of these grains so they ended up .

Adding in um some synthetic version of vitamins back into this grain to try to bring it back to where it was because in the refining process you end up stripping out a lot of nutrition so they put back in iron b1 b2 b3 folic acid and .

Calcium and you can imagine the quality of those vitamins are definitely probably the lowest list they're made from petroleum and they just stick them in there not too impressed with that the problem is when you eat grains that have been fortified which it's mainly in america and other in a few other countries but certain parts of .

Uh western europe and i think italy don't use this fortification crap and so this is why when you eat grains in other parts of the world if you're not in the us you don't nearly get the bloating the grain doesn't sit in your gut like a iron weight because there's iron in there right plus they do use a different .

Type of grain as well but that fortification is not good on your digestive system so when they actually refine the grain okay you end up eating the product and you actually if you consume refined grains you create deficiencies of certain nutrients okay and at least two of the primary .

Nutrients that you'll create deficiencies are the b vitamins and the vitamin e complex now you know they put back in three b vitamins but what about all the other b vitamins these other b vitamins that are not in there that you then become deficient in .

Can create a major strain on your heart now you may have not heard a vitamin before there's some interesting research done by dr royal lee back in the 1940s and even 50s but another name for vitamin b4 is adenine is a critical critical compound in the regulation of .

Cardiovascular function both in the coronary artery as well as in the rhythm of the heart the neurological pacemaker of the heart and so if you're deficient in this element i could put a big strain on not just one part of the heart .

Several parts of the heart so giving up grain for two weeks will take some relief off of your heart both the coronary artery as well as in the pacemaker of the heart so the heart can then stay in rhythm much easier now let's talk about vitamin e as far as the heart goes your vitamin e .

Is very necessary to prevent angina because vitamin e improves the oxygen carrying capacity of the heart tissue by up to 250 percent so if you're deficient in vitamin e the heart has to labor it doesn't get enough oxygen and the heart can even form a heart cramp that's .

Called angina so when you give up grains for two weeks you're going to take a big stress off the heart all right the next point i'm going to bring up is just the simple carbs the refined carbohydrates in these grains they're huge with a pretty high glycemic index and i'm not even talking about the added .

Sugar to the cereals and all these other grains just talking about where grains are on the glycemic index okay especially refined grains they are high so what happens is this grain turns into sugar very quick it spikes your blood sugar and now you're going to get all the bad effects of high insulin and high .

Blood sugar and that's going to be weight gain that's going to have cognitive problems you're going to be less smart less focus less concentration you're going to have a lowered mood you're going to be irritable you're .

Going to have more anxiety and you're simply going to be tired okay other than that you're going to be totally fine now i just want to point out when you consume pasta it's a little bit different if you check your blood sugars right after consuming pasta um .

They won't be spiked it's kind of a delay apparently pasta is more dense so it takes a while for it to break down so if you check it within an hour your blood sugars will be spiked in a major way so just because it doesn't get spiked right away doesn't mean it's not going to spike .

Later all right the next point i want to bring up is this thing called phytic acid what is it it's a protective chemical that seeds use to keep a seed from sprouting okay and when you consume grains with phytic acid because you didn't .

Germinate them or soak them okay what happens is you now are going to have a difficult time absorbing minerals like zinc like iron like calcium things like that so this is why grains um inhibit your ability to absorb minerals trace minerals so by getting off grains for two weeks guess what no .

Phytic acid and you finally get to absorb these wonderful trace minerals that's going to be cool and there's a whole chain reaction of positive things that are going to happen just from that all right the next point i want to bring up is the reduction of gut inflammation when you stop eating grains why because .

Of gluten gluten is one of the most inflammatory things for the gut that you can consume so many people have a gluten intolerance okay they just can't tolerate it or they have a severe allergy to gluten it's a protein and even if it doesn't directly affect the gut it affects other parts of your body there's a lot information on that i will .

Put a link down below but it's going to affect the pain in your gut it's going to affect bloating distension you're going to feel like you're pregnant after you eat grains that was me you're going to have pain in your stomach that was me and anything that's going on with the gut is going to .

Be going on with the brain so if you have gut inflammation guess what it's going to affect your brain you're going to have brain fog you're going to have all sorts of behavioral issues and mood problems and anxiety and even depression the list goes on and on that's not all we got more .

If you don't eat grains okay there's no fortification so we'll have less bloating from that you're going to feel like oh wow my stomach isn't so bloated now also grains are high in omega-6 fatty acids and those are the things that create inflammation so guess what you're going .

To have a lot less inflammation uh not just in your colon but through the whole body so if you have arthritis chances are that arthritis might actually disappear all right number eight you're going to have less fluid retention because these are refined grains usually okay mostly refined grains .

Refined carbohydrate you're going to hold a lot of fluid and so an average person is probably holding minimally 13 pounds of excess fluid when they do high carbs so getting rid of the grains for two weeks you'll probably lose at least 13 pounds of fluid that's going to be cool also you're going to sleep better .

There's going to be more hormonal balance there's going to be less effect on the neurotransmitters in your brain like dopamine and you're going to just feel calmer you're going to feel stress free okay and then you're going to sleep better also and this is interesting if you have hashimoto's which is usually .

The most common form of hypothyroidism okay 90 of people that have hypothyroidism have hashimoto's you definitely need to get off grains immediately why because the gluten in the grain the protein can mimic the thyroid and cause what's called .

Molecular mimicry where your immune system is attacking the thyroid simply because you're eating gluten okay so you need to get rid of that and guess what your thyroid is going to be a lot happier and that's going to lead to a whole cascade of wonderful things from just from that .

Also all this inflammation that you have is going to go away and your immune system will now finally get a chance to work much better you're going to be running less on glucose and more in ketones and so you're going to have a cleaner fuel and your immune system loves that so you'll be less sick as well and lastly .

You're going to be less exposed to something called glyphosate glyphosate is the thing they spray grains unfortunately even though some of these grains are not even gmo they still spray them less glyphosate means lower risk of cancer and it also means better .

Digestive health because the glyphosate kills microbes and they can affect your gi as well so i challenge you to give up grains for two weeks and then write down in the comments section how wonderful your life is because of that .

Now if you haven't seen my other video on giving up sugar for two weeks i put it right here check it out

12:47 Find out what happens if you stop eating sugar for 2 weeks

Let’s talk about what would happen if you stopped eating grains for 14 days. Giving up grains for two weeks may even be more beneficial than giving up sugar for two weeks. Not only do grains cause a spike in blood sugar, but they also cause a lot of inflammation.

If you consume refined grains, you create deficiencies of certain nutrients. Although grains in the US are fortified with certain synthetic vitamins, fortified grains are actually not good for your digestive system.

If you give up grains for 2 weeks, you will:
• Take stress off of the heart
• Have more balanced blood sugars
• Increase your absorption of minerals
• Reduce gut inflammation
• Have less bloating
• Have less inflammation
• Have less fluid retention
• Feel calmer and sleep better
• Experience relief if you have Hashimoto’s
• Boost your immune system
• Decrease your exposure to glyphosate

PARASITE CLEANSE: DIY Protocol and Home Remedy

PARASITE CLEANSE: DIY Protocol and Home Remedy

PARASITE CLEANSE: DIY Protocol and Home Remedy

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with PARASITE CLEANSE: DIY Protocol and Home Remedy?

Today i'm going to show you a do-it-yourself parasite cleanse concoction i have to say i hate parasites you know why because they take but they don't give back like at least friendly bacteria they provide vitamins immune protection but a parasite is kind of like a little criminal it takes something it doesn't .

Give anything back and that definitely applies to these worms now the most common parasite worm in western europe and united states is the pinworm they're about one centimeter long and when you're exposed to them the eggs can survive for a period of think three weeks in your body and then they actually hatch and then they can even .

Reproduce and so they're pretty nasty and so i'm going to show you a really good natural remedy that you can make on your own i recently made mine not that i have pinworms but i just want that remedy on the shelf now 20 of children are going to get pin worms sometime in their life .

Probably from like nail biting or finger sucking and 30 of the people who get pin worm have absolutely no symptoms but for those that do get symptoms the number one symptom is anal itching at night okay number two grinding of the teeth three insomnia four restlessness five stomach pain and nauseousness six bedwetting and number seven which is .

Not really a symptom it's just a a point i was i was going to make 36 percent of people that get utis end up having pin worm which is actually quite interesting because it just tells us their environment is very attractive for growing parasites and so if you do have a history of utis i have a very good video i'm going to .

Just put that in the section below so here's the remedy black walnut halls now where i live it's you can walk down the street and find these you can go in the park and find these they're in your backyard they're all over the place so the hall is the kind of a green shell around the walnut and it's very .

Very uh bitter it's very very concentrated and it has certain elements that are really good to kill pinworms ringworms tapeworms it's very anti-microbial now you want to make sure that you use gloves because it will stain your hands for weeks .

So what you want to do is you want to get these walnut holes and you want to get several that are kind of soft but they're not dark brown yet and then you want to cut them in half take the nut out okay you can dry that for a couple weeks and actually eat eat the walnuts but what you're interested in is this hull this surrounding green part which .

You're going to put in a jar okay a quart wide mouth jar and you're going to add a mixture of half alcohol and half water i do recommend vodka but you can also use apple cider vinegar it's just not as strong but the way that we made ours is with vodka .

Now inevitably you know every time i'm at the store and buying something for research purposes like vodka inevitably someone's going to be in there that has been watching my videos so i'm here i am in the liquor store i'm looking around making sure no one sees me and then i go right up to the lady at the checkout and she goes oh dr .

Berg i watch all your videos and i'm like okay great it's not what it looks like okay this is for experimental purposes we're gonna we're making a parasite cleanse and she's looking at me like you're making a parasite cleanse with vodka yeah right so no she didn't believe me but anyway .

Hopefully she's watching this video right now so you're gonna take a combination of alcohol and water a one to one ratio and you're going to basically pour it into this jar where you have several of these black walnut hulls which are basically green because the hole is green in the .

Actual nut it's black we're not using the nut so basically we top it off so we have all these holes that are being bathed in this alcohol mixture and the thing about the alcohol it's going to help extract these phenols about 14 different powerful phyto .

Nutrients that are very very potent seriously potent antioxidants as well as having antimicrobial properties so you're going to leave it in this jar which you're going to put a lid on for about four weeks in a warm place don't keep it outside where it's cold because it's not going to work as well and so you're just .

Going to keep it there and then at the end of a month you're going to strain the fluid out you're going to put this mixture in tincture bottles with a dropper then what you do is you just take one drop or full whatever liquid comes up in the dropper okay and put that in a little glass of water and just chug that down .

Once a day now if your children have pin worms okay or tape worms or ring worms you can just use half of the dropper okay so that way it'll be a bit more mild now there's a couple other things you can do you can use wormwood garlic and clove they also work really good you can even buy this in a supplement if you don't want to .

Make it but i'm really into making natural remedies from nature that don't really involve too much complexity now regarding black walnut halls there's some fascinating research that's being done by pharmaceutical companies for various remedies so apparently they get a lot of ideas for certain properties from nature .

And then they extract them they synthesize them and they patent them to come up with remedies but why not just use something that mother nature has provided us and so at a fraction of the cost you can now make your own parasite tincture oh by the way if you haven't seen my other video on .

A BETTER Way to Lose Flabby Cellulite on Your Hips, Thighs and Buttocks – Dr. Berg

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with A BETTER Way to Lose Flabby Cellulite on Your Hips, Thighs and Buttocks – Dr. Berg?

Let's talk about how to get rid of cellulite the cottage cheese-like appearance that you don't want on your body i did a video on this a while ago but i wanted to update it because i have some new information that you're going to be excited about now just realize there are things you can do that will create a .

Significant difference in cellulite sometimes people will tell you there's nothing you can do so just live with it don't buy into that on that note in order to fix a problem we have to really understand the problem the more we understand it the easier it is to fix it and when people talk about cellulite there are .

So many different theories so many different treatments so many different viewpoints okay but i found some great fascinating data in a patent which i'm going to put the link down below and the cool thing about a patent is they organize all the research on cellulite for you so that .

Gives you a head start so you have something to work off of here's some information that will kind of give you a little foundation before i get into what to do cellulite only occurs in the butt thighs and hip it does not occur in the breast arm or your stomach okay now what's interesting about that is that .

In this area of the body there are twice as many alpha-2 receptors now what is an alpha-2 receptor an alpha-2 receptor is in the fat cell and it tells the body to store fat for later use okay and so one of the big purposes of this fat .

Around this lower part of the body is to act as a reserve for pregnancy okay in lean times so this fat can actually provide fuel for the baby if someone's pregnant so what else do we know we know that cellulite gets worse with pregnancies okay it gets worse when you take .

Hormone replacement therapy it gets worse when you take birth control pills it gets worse with menopause so normally okay right underneath the skin you have this very structured organized connective tissue like a fishnet that .

Holds everything real nice and organized and very very tight so that way we have this nice smooth layer of skin on the outside and then we have the fat layer and then we have the muscle right underneath it that's in a normal situation with cellulite the bands the collagen bands are .

Partially or completely dissolved and that is some new information that i recently found out about okay so what's happening is you're getting this loss of this fibrous fishnet that's supposed to hold these fat cells really nice and organized and they are basically all .

Chaotic and they're pushing up against the skin now because there's nothing to hold them in place and they're creating this dimple cottage cheese like appearance you also have an enlarged fat cell you have usually thin skin we have circulation loss sometimes we have fluid retention sometimes we have a .

Backup of the lymphatic system and we usually always have atrophy of the muscles underneath so it's a combination of quite a few things but the question is why what is causing this loss of this collagen well this is not a fat problem this is a collagen disorder caused by .

Excess estrogen okay now wait a second how can it be excess estrogen if if someone has menopause well during menopause you have a loss of ovary function and what a lot of people don't know is you have other parts of your body that also make estrogen like your fat cells like your skin cells they actually make .

Estrogen and the way that they make it is through an enzyme called aromatase so what aromatase does right underneath the skin and in the fat cell is it converts testosterone into estrogen so it's going to get this extra estrogen .

From the testosterone and probably what's happening and there's this compensatory or compensating mechanism when there's lower estrogen to then make more in various places and so we have two things going on we have this excess estrogen that destroys collagen fibers .

And elastin okay if there's too much if there's just a right amount it's not going to destroy anything but if there's too much it's going to be a problem and if there's excess aromatase that is going to destroy the fibroblasts that make the collagen underneath the skin and so you're going to end up with like virtually nothing to hold this fat .

In place and that is the jiggly kind of fat that that people just want to get rid of and so they get in a diet they start losing fat and it just never gets rid of the cellulite because it's not a fat problem and it's not even necessarily a diet problem directly even though that is involved indirectly .

It's really a hormonal problem mainly to do with estrogen but there's other hormones involved too like cortisol because the cortisol is going to create the atrophy of the muscle like a loss of growth hormone as you age that's the main fat burning hormone like insulin which if you have too much .

Insulin that's going to block any chance of losing fat which now this enlarged fat cell never is able to go away so we want to reduce insulin and then melatonin not just for your sleep for your antioxidants there's a lot of interesting new information about melatonin in another video that is very .

Interesting but the loss of melatonin can create a lot of issues related to cellulite as well as just fat burning in general and having a nice quality sleep and preventing a lot of illnesses and then we have dhea this is kind of like a a pre-hormone that will help you make .

Other hormones and usually as we age we become deficient in this precursor and so that could be another issue as well all right so now that you have the foundation let's go into a plan of what you can do about it okay here's the plan number one we have to fix the atrophy problem how do we do that we have to stimulate the muscles which .

Ones the glutes the thighs and the hip muscles there's some really good exercises to isolate those muscles doing lunges squats and also retro walking now what is that that is walking backwards it's an awesome exercise to stimulate the areas .

Where people have cellulite and you can even do it on the treadmill if you do it very gradually because if you do it too fast you can hurt yourself so i'm going to put links down below so you can learn how to do each of these with the right form and do it correctly don't just jump and start doing it i found some really good .

Videos relating to these three things right here now as far as walking backwards you can do this at a park um just you know watch where you're going okay and of course when you're treadmill you start off like with one mile an hour and you just gradually increase there's another video i'm going to put down below that shows you .

A higher level of doing this it should only be done once you've gotten pretty good shape but i found a video that's just awesome that would really work this whole area because what we have to do is we have to stimulate these muscles to cause growth hormone to be activated and to .

Increase the muscle tone underneath this whole thing that's going to help greatly now i wanted to put number four for certain people but not everyone because this is pretty intense i recently did a video on the most powerful high intensity interval training exercise which is sprinting it's called .

A hit exercise this will produce the most fat burning of anything the problem with it you can't do it with bad knees or a bad back you have to be in pretty good shape to do this and you have to go really really light in other words if you overdo it you're going to be sore for a long period of .

Time because you're doing this massively intense workout with like a 100 effort and you really can only go for a short period of time in fact i only recommend going for 10 seconds just doing it two or three times max maybe two times right because you're going to feel so sore the next day you're probably not going to get out of .

Bed like myself where i did it a lot longer thinking that i was 18 again and so i'm only 29 so i don't know why i can't handle it but you can get very very sore with this sprinting and you're going to work muscles that you've never ever worked before but it's very very therapeutic maybe you're not going .

To do a hardcore flat out sprint maybe you just do it like at 50 all right so you can watch these videos and start to stimulate these muscles on a regular basis okay number two you're going to fix the circulation problem what happens with cellulite is .

You lose the vascular system right underneath the skin so we get a lot of congestion we don't have a lot of circulation we get a lot of free radical damage and and everything is kind of chaotic so there's a couple things you can do to increase blood flow to the area there are several things you can do you can do .

The rebound exercises okay i have a video on that i will put that down below and you can also do red light therapy they have these little wands that you can rub on your skin now at first you're thinking that's not going to do anything but there's some really powerful research .

Using infrared light it's extremely therapeutic for increasing melatonin okay if you haven't seen my video on that i put that down below too melatonin is one of the most powerful antioxidants in your entire body so it's going to protect the mitochondria from all this free radical damage so it's going to help you just .

Stay healthy and prevent the aging of the skin and it's going to help you sleep apparently the pineal gland is really only a backup to this other melatonin in all the other cells in the body which is stimulated by infrared from the sun in other locations but you can use the red light therapy to .

Increase melatonin some people are doing it with the infrared saunas there's a lot of different things you can do with that so that's one thing you can do to increase melatonin increase antioxidants and increase your sleep which is going to lower cortisol and help you recover much better from this workout doing a dry brush okay i did a video on .

This where you're getting this brush and you're rubbing the superficial part of your skin to stimulate a reaction in your skin to cause it some stress so it can rebound and actually start to improve circulation a lot of great data on this i would highly recommend getting a dry brush and stimulating the outside of the skin which is going to affect the .

Inside of the skin right below the surface the other thing you can do is to get a massage in this area down here on a regular basis because what we're trying to do is we're trying to get more blood flow we're trying to get more lymph moving through the body the lymph .

System is at the end of the circulatory system so you have all the vascular system that ends up in the capillaries and then it crosses over into the lymph system okay and that it's a whole different circulatory system and so when you do like rebound exercises and you do red light therapy dry brush massage these .

Are all really good to stimulate circulation and as well as lymphatic drainage all right the next one fix the collagen problem how are we going to do that well there's a condition called autophagy and that occurs when you do fasting .

Autophagy is a condition that allows you to recycle old damaged proteins as in collagen scar tissue fibrous tissue and not only does it break that down it replaces it with new tissue so autophagy is a condition that is very rejuvenating it's anti-aging and you want to start doing .

Fasting on a regular basis not only that fasting will stimulate growth hormone allow you to burn ketones which is all very therapeutic to your skin as well as help you lose the fat directly so i would recommend doing intermittent fasting on a regular basis as well as prolonged fasting .

On more of a periodic basis i have a lot of videos i'll put a link down below of how you can get started and then i'm going to recommend getting an aromatase inhibitor cream okay i'm not going to get into brands because i don't want to .

Mention a brand and all of a sudden if they change the formula then then you're going to blame me the whole thing so you're going to have to do your research on that you want to get aromatase inhibitor cream you can get them on amazon you can buy them from various health food stores one is called dim okay .

That's a concentrated cruciferous version you don't want to get the pills you want to get the topical version and you want to rub it into your skin okay each night before you go to bed what is this going to do it's going to help reduce this aromatase which is creating the damage so we can actually stop the .

Bleeding and we can actually start to turn things around so this is just one piece of data that i found in that patent that was very fascinating with all the research that backs it up okay so mistakes that people make going too fast okay when you're exercising you can very easily overdo it and then be completely sore uh for a .

Very long time so you want to go into it very slowly when you start out especially if you have atrophy all right the next mistake is working out over soreness so if you're sore don't keep working out because the benefit of that workout is to get sore and then recover okay if you work out over soreness you're basically damaging an already .

Damaged muscle all right the next point is not creating enough stimulus for the muscles so if you're going too light and you're not doing it enough that's another problem so we want the optimum amount of stimulus to the muscle so you actually feel it and you get sore and then you're going to let it heal so .

We don't want to go too light and too infrequent the other point is your sleep if your sleep is poor then you're going to have a hard time having this work out because the cortisol is going to be very high the insulin is going to be very high because of the cortisol and that's one .

Point you really want to focus on but the infrared information can greatly help melatonin and help you sleep all right and last point a big mistake is not giving enough time thinking it's going to happen in a couple weeks .

Unfortunately you have probably years of breakdown of this collagen this this web-like fibrous net that's been breaking down and it's going to take some time it's going to take some months and it could take even up to a year maybe a year and a half but just realize that you're going to improve the more you do it but you just want to stick to .

It to the point where you start seeing change the problem is when you evaluate yourself today versus tomorrow you see nothing so the change is going to be so gradual you you're going to think it's not working so i highly recommend you take pictures before and after maybe once a month so you can visually see that it is working all right if you .

Haven't seen my video on melatonin yet i think that would be a perfect next video to watch check it out right here

Today we’re going to talk about how to get rid of cellulite.

Cellulite only occurs in the butt, thighs, and hips. Cellulite worsens with pregnancy, hormone replacement therapy, and menopause.

With cellulite, the collagen bands are partially or entirely dissolved. There are also a few other things that could be going on, including:
• Enlarged fat cells
• Thin skin
• Circulation loss
• Fluid retention
• Back up of the lymphatic system
• Atrophy of the muscles underneath

Overall, cellulite is not a fat disorder—it’s a collagen disorder caused by excess estrogen. Two main things are going on:
1. Excess estrogen that destroys collagen fibers and elastin.
2. Excess aromatase that destroys the fibroblasts that make collagen under the skin.

Collagen is a byproduct of a hormonal problem, mainly to do with estrogen. But, other things could be involved too, such as:
• Too much cortisol
• Loss of growth hormone
• Too much insulin
• Loss of melatonin
• Deficiency in DHEA

How to get rid of cellulite:
1. Fix the atrophy problem
• Do lunges
• Do squats
• Start retro walking
• Try sprinting

2. Fix the circulation problem
• Do rebound exercises
• Do red light therapy
• Use a dry brush on your skin
• Get a massage on the area regularly

3. Fix the collagen problem
• Do intermittent and prolonged fasting
• Use an aromatase inhibitor cream (massage onto the area before bed)

Mistakes to avoid:
• Going too fast when you exercise
• Working out over soreness
• Not creating enough stimulus for the muscles
• Getting poor sleep
• Not giving it enough time

The MOST POWERFUL Antioxidant is Melatonin, NOT Glutathione

The MOST POWERFUL Antioxidant is Melatonin, NOT Glutathione

The MOST POWERFUL Antioxidant is Melatonin, NOT Glutathione

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with The MOST POWERFUL Antioxidant is Melatonin, NOT Glutathione?

All right so this topic is probably one of the most important videos that i will ever do regarding your health i didn't know what to call it so i titled it the most important antioxidant is melatonin not glutathione but this information is completely brand new you've never heard this before and it's very important information now a .

Few weeks ago i interviewed dr roger schwelt it was a fascinating interview related to vitamin d and there's one point at the end where he talked about some of the studies not really coming out that dramatic with your immune system using vitamin d and then he said something that really .

Got my attention he said that it was probably not just vitamin d he said that if they did the studies with actual sun not just vitamin d you'd probably see a much better outcome and then he sent me this this paper that literally blew me away and i put the link down below and this video is a summary of that paper and so people .

They want to live as long as possible why do people die well the great majority of people die because of heart disease that's the first cause of why people die the second cause is cancer and the third reason why people die is related to some metabolic illness it could be .

Diabetes it could be alzheimer's it really depends on what country you live in but typically it's related to some metabolic underlying cause and what's common about all these reasons why people die is that they're all mitochondrial diseases in other words there's some type of dysfunction that .

Destroys the mitochondria with cancer it originates in the mitochondria the mitochondria become damaged and then that cell then converts over into a cancer cell now with heart disease we have a lot of free radical damage whether the person's on a high carb diet or they're a smoker or they have a lot of oxidative stress then we create this .

Irritation or inflammation in the inner arteries but that damage is being created in the mitochondria and so if we really look at the essence of where the problem is we're getting this excess of oxidative stress and free radical damage .

Normally our body is supposed to protect against that okay and the way that it protects against that is through the antioxidant networks there's certain enzymes that act as antioxidants one being glutathione it's considered the most important antioxidant but guess what melatonin is even more powerful and more effective .

Because melatonin is not only an antioxidant it triggers other antioxidant networks including glutathione i mean melatonin is twice as powerful as vitamin e and we know the importance of vitamin e to prevent heart disease inside the arteries so melatonin is a very powerful antioxidant and it triggers .

Other antioxidants now you're probably saying right now wait a second i thought melatonin was really about helping you sleep it's involved in the circadian rhythm it helps people take it if they get jet leg and maybe you've heard something about how melatonin is now used to help your immune system since it's now considered .

An immune modulator to help you regulate your immune system and of course i won't mention specifics but it's very very powerful against certain viruses and on top of that there's a lot of research on how it's an extremely potent anti-cancer compound or a hormone all right so maybe you already knew that but what you don't .

Know is this there are two forms of melatonin there's a type of melatonin that is in your blood circulatory system as well as inside your pineal gland and your pineal gland makes melatonin stimulated from darkness okay but there's also another type of melatonin that is subcellular that means .

It's inside your cells and it's inside the mitochondria and the reason why it's there is to help protect against the massive oxidation and free radical damage that usually occurs in the mitochondria so there's two forms of melatonin circulatory and subcellular this part right here .

The mitochondria that's inside the cells is the great majority of the melatonin in your body in fact there's some new data that indicates that the melatonin in your pineal gland is really only a backup or supplemental to this other system so if you don't have enough in your cells then it'll actually take from .

The pineal now guess what's going to happen if you don't have enough in the pineal it's going to affect your sleep your quality of sleep is going to be crappy you're going to get inflammation and you're not going to have the antioxidant protection and there's a whole list of .

Problems that can occur from that not just poor sleep but chronic inflammation chronic degenerative diseases especially of your brain do you realize that there's a condition called sundown syndrome which involves people that have alzheimer's disease and dementia so apparently when the sun goes down .

45 percent of people with alzheimer's and dementia they start getting very agitated they get extremely fatigued why do you think that is because they're running out of melatonin they don't have enough melatonin now at this point you're probably completely confused because typically melatonin is the hormone of .

Darkness okay because everyone knows that the absence of light stimulates melatonin however there's some new information so if you've checked out check back in because this next part is very very very important the largest stimulus of this intracellular melatonin .

Is near infrared aka the sun certain wavelengths of the sun will stimulate the melatonin inside the cells and darkness will stimulate the melatonin within the circulatory system in the pineal gland in fact over 50 percent of the sun's .

Energy is infrared and this goes way beyond the benefit of getting vitamin d from the sun you ever notice why when you sit in front of a campfire you feel so relaxed and you probably sleep a lot better because natural fire gives off infrared campfires are very therapeutic or why .

You might feel very relaxed if there's candles around the house infrared when you use incandescent lights okay those are the lights that have been around since the 1800s the type of light that's generated from a heating filament versus led which uses a completely different technology .

Incandescent lights give off infrared and unfortunately the entire industry is moving away from incandescent lights we have moved into the area of artificial lights led blue lights aka your computer cell phone in fact there is a very interesting study which i'll put a link down below .

That demonstrates children in predominantly artificial light end up having a deficiency of gray matter and having a much more difficult time in learning this is also why there's so many therapeutic benefits to an infrared sauna and there's a huge trend in people buying infrared lasers infrared therapies .

For pain inflammation and sleep so melatonin is not just a hormone of darkness but it's also a hormone of sunshine the other cool thing about the sun is that even if you have a hat on okay the grass the clouds the dirt strongly reflect .

Infrared waves so you don't have to be looking into the sun if you're outside you're going to get infrared indirectly now i just want to tell you a little side note on that topic presently i'm living on a farm and the two neighbors that helped me a lot on my farm are both in their 60s .

Their diet is is not just inadequate their diets are absolutely terrible okay they live on sugar one choose tobacco the other one smokes now both of these guys are outside all day long okay i don't even think .

They have computers i don't even think they have a cell phone they're just outside working the land all day long and they rarely seem to get sick they don't really have any health problems they're both super strong but they eat like crap but they're getting a tremendous amount of .

Antioxidants that is repairing the oxidative stress that's repairing the free radical damage and it's just interesting to know what's important and maybe what's less important and i really didn't emphasize the importance of the sun for your health and simply because i didn't have this data right here this infrared .

Information as well as its connection to increasing melatonin but apparently as a therapy being outside in the environment in nature and being exposed to sun is extremely important probably just as important as eating healthily now the other cool thing about infrared is it has the ability to penetrate your skull now that's mind-blowing in this research .

Paper they talk about how it penetrates the cerebral spinal fluid and how that can just bathe the entire brain and spread to the entire spinal cord it's just it's wild so this is just another reason why if someone's getting dementia or as alzheimer's they should be exposed to sun and the cool thing is this infrared protects against .

Uv radiation so if you're concerned about the sun causing cancer i understand that we're not talking about being out there and getting burned we're talking about being out there and maybe even getting the sun's indirect energy from the grass but the point is that this ir helps you generate a tremendous amount .

Of antioxidants that can potentially protect the mitochondria from having its complications from all that free radical damage that occurs now if we flip that and talk about what creates a deficiency of infrared well being exposed to artificial lights led lighting blue light cell phones computers so here people are .

They're sitting in their home all day in front of the computer or they're at work sitting at their desk in front of the computer and by the time they get home it's already dark out well understanding the importance of melatonin and having enough melatonin to protect against all this other damage so it's not just about that vitamin d from the sun it's about .

Melatonin now a couple things you can do in addition to getting outside more and more you can get one of these therapeutic lights and expose yourself to near infrared 20 minutes a night before you go to bed that could be something you can do you can switch out your lighting system to more incandescent lights you .

Can have more fires in your fireplace or more candles or campfires but anyway i think this is a fascinating topic and if you haven't seen my video on the therapeutic benefit of the sun i put it right here check it out you

This video is a summary of an important paper that blew me away.

Three of the leading causes of death:
• Heart disease
• Cancer
• Metabolic illnesses

With each of these causes of death, there is some type of dysfunction that destroys the mitochondria. The essence of the problem is an excess of oxidative stress and free radical damage.

Normally, the body protects against these things through its antioxidant networks. Glutathione has been considered the most important antioxidant. But, melatonin is even more powerful and effective than glutathione.

Benefits of melatonin:
• It’s a powerful antioxidant
• It’s 2x more powerful than vitamin E
• It triggers antioxidants like glutathione
• It promotes sleep
• It supports the immune system
• It has anti-cancer benefits

There are two forms of melatonin, one being subcellular melatonin, which means it’s inside the mitochondria. It’s there to help protect against oxidation and free radical damage in the mitochondria.

A lack of melatonin can:
• Affect your sleep
• Cause inflammation
• Cause you to lose your antioxidant protection in the mitochondria
• Lead to chronic degenerative diseases (especially of the brain)

The largest stimulus of subcellular melatonin is near-infrared light (NIR).
A few things that give off NIR:
• The sun
• Campfires
• Fire in a fireplace
• Candles
• Incandescent lights
• Infrared sauna
• Infrared lights and lasers

Being outside in nature and in the sun may be just as important as eating healthy. Infrared light also protects against UV radiation.

Being exposed to artificial lights (LED light and blue light) is a big cause of a deficiency of infrared light.

What you can do:
• Get outside in the sun
• Get a therapeutic near-infrared light
• Switch your lights to incandescent lights
• Have more fires or use candles
