Autoimmune Conditions May Be Viral: Molecular Mimicry

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with Autoimmune Conditions May Be Viral: Molecular Mimicry?

so your autoimmune disease could be
related to a virus i want to talk about this recently
i bought this amazing textbook it’s called
molecular mimicry infection-induced autoimmune diseases
so you’ll need a medical dictionary to get through it because there’s a lot of
big words but it’s a fascinating book talking about
viruses in relationship to very specific autoimmune conditions
so i want to summarize the whole book in this very short video they’re talking
about molecular mimicry what they found is the microbe like a
virus and the host cell which is your own cell
many times has similar codes in their genetics and what happens
over time they can cross react so in other words
you can develop antibodies for this virus
that also attack parts of your own tissues
and they have a very interesting chart right here that relates different
viruses to very specific types of tissue the
measles virus which has a part of its code identical
to myelin protein showing you the link between this
virus and potentially getting ms and then we have the adenovirus which is
the common cold has similar coding to a-gliadin
which is part of the gluten the protein in wheat
so here you get an infection with adenovirus and now you have a gluten
sensitivity then we have papilloma virus which is the virus involved in
warts well guess what the code in this one
is in insulin receptors so take a while guess what condition you can get
if you have antibodies attacking the insulin receptor then we have the
coxsackie b4 virus which also has the same code as the
insulin receptor so this one can also trigger diabetes
type 1. then we have chlamydia which is not a
virus it’s a bacteria which a part of it has the identical
code to heart tissue proteins so you can
actually end up having a heart problem by getting chlamydia down the road now
i’m not saying that you’re going to get these autoimmune conditions if you were
exposed to this virus or exposed to viral particles and other
things which i can’t talk about on the internet but i think you know what i’m
talking about but there’s a very interesting link
between microbes and your own cells
i think this is a strategy that the microbes have developed
to try to go underneath the radar without being
detected because then they can actually try to trick our body in thinking that
the microbe is actually part of our self when it’s really not so how would this
cross reactivity happen i think you also have to have some chemical
evolve or some stress trigger involved to have this happen i’m
not sure exactly but if you have the perfect scenario
where you’re having all these factors align your body can start developing
antibodies to its own tissue what can you do about it one of the
things that i would recommend is vitamin d for a couple reasons
vitamin d deficiencies are involved in all of these infections
not to mention the virus having one of the strategies of decreasing
the vitamin d receptor in your cell called the VDR
so they’re very sneaky entities that go in there and shut down
the very thing you need to protect yourself against
viruses vitamin d in general is involved in
every level of your immune system including
being anti-viral so i would recommend taking
higher doses of vitamin d and i’ll put a link down below if you want more
information on that vitamin d tends to suppress
the collateral damage that autoimmune diseases create
the problem with autoimmune conditions is you have so much
inflammation and so much collateral damage that you get destruction of the
joints and all this is being created by your
own immune system so your immune system is releasing chemicals because it
thinks your own tissue is a poison or a virus vitamin d is one
of the best things to calm down the immune system and prevent
this collateral damage now there’s something
else that you could also take and it’s purified bile
salts bile salts tend to be a vitamin d receptor
agonist what does that mean it means that it’s something
to help open up and increase the absorption
of vitamin d not to mention vitamin d is a fat soluble vitamin
and the last thing is that if you do have a chronic
infection of some virus oregano oil is a really good thing to take and also
colloidal silver which is a really good antiviral it’s natural and there’s
virtually no side effects all right guys thanks for
watching hey we’re back with another amazing

Today we’re going to talk about autoimmune diseases and how an autoimmune disease could be related to a virus.

It’s been found that the microbe (a virus) and the host cell (your own cell) many times have similar codes in their genetics. Over time, they can actually cross-react. In other words, you could develop antibodies for this virus that also attack parts of your own tissues. I think this could be a strategy that the microbes have developed to try to go underneath the radar and trick the body into thinking it’s a part of the body.

In order for cross-reactivity to happen, I think you also have to have some chemical involved or stress trigger involved. It seems there would need to be a lot of factors that would need to align, but if they did, you could potentially develop antibodies to your own tissue.

What could you do?

1. Vitamin D (high doses)
2. Purified bile salts
3. Oregano oil and colloidal silver

Today we’re going to talk about autoimmune conditions and what causes autoimmune conditions?

An autoimmune condition is a situation where your body has created immune cells that are attacking itself.
This creates inflammation, and the inflammation creates a lot of collateral damage. It’s all of the free radicals that end up actually destroying the tissue.

The immune cells that are attacking itself are called autoantibodies. You can have these autoantibodies to pretty much any tissue in the body.

What autoimmune conditions boil down to is one cell called the Th17 cell becoming overactive. Excessive amounts of this cell are responsible for autoimmune conditions.

In your immune system, you have a lot of different T cells. The T stands for thymus. Typically T helper cells do things like recruiting help to fight infection and generating weaponry. It’s the main controller in the battle against infections.

One of the functions of these cells is to maintain the intestinal barrier. This is the barrier that helps keep out viruses and pathogens. If there’s a break in the wall and harmful bacteria get in, they can invade the inside of the body, causing an immune attack. Now, your body is going to start creating antibodies against these cells. If those cells are pathogens, this is a good thing. But, what if those cells are your own cells? This, of course, wouldn’t be good.

Another function of Th17 cells is making sure that the body doesn’t destroy its own tissue. This cell could help prevent autoimmune conditions.

The Th17 cells also work with the T regulatory cells, which have an even greater function of preventing autoimmune diseases. It may also help suppress autoimmune diseases and hyperinflammatory conditions. T regulatory cells also calm down infections.

When the Th17 cell doesn’t work as it should, you’re at risk for getting a movement of bacteria across the intestinal barrier. This could lead to chronic infection and chronic inflammation.

It’s unclear how these cells become overactivated. But, what is known is that there are usually several things involved, such as:

1. Infection
2. Stress
3. Malnourishment

Vitamin D can potentially help bring down this overreaction of the Th17 cell.

Myasthenia Gravis Remission with Vitamin D

Myasthenia Gravis Remission with Vitamin D

Myasthenia Gravis Remission with Vitamin D

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with Myasthenia Gravis Remission with Vitamin D?

hey I’m back and today I’m going to talk
about an interesting case study that was done by a Brazilian doctor working with
a patient who had something called myasthenia gravis this condition is an
autoimmune disease that’s a condition where you have any buddies or they call
them autoantibodies that are against our own tissues you can have an
autoimmune disease to just about every single thing in your body this
particular autoimmune disease attacks the junction the connection between your
nerves and your muscles okay so that’s what it is and that’s going to deplete
acetylcholine so you can have a lot of muscle problems specifically in the
skeletal muscle and one of the treatments that they normally use is
steroids autoimmune conditions produce a lot of
inflammation and a steroid is an anti-inflammatory of course the problem
there’s a lot of side effects when you take steroids the amount of vitamin D
that this doctor used was between 80,000 and 120,000 international units of
vitamin d3 what happened was he was able to put this patients symptoms in
remission okay so of course they don’t ever like to say care or anything like
that but in remission means that you don’t have any of the symptoms why would
this potentially work and what is a relationship of vitamin D I’ve done
other videos on this but if you have an autoimmune condition vitamin D is
definitely something that you want to consider because vitamin D is not even
necessarily a vitamin it’s hormone like in an acts like a steroid without the
side effects and the other thing that it does is it supports something called the
T regulatory cells and that’s part of the immune system that has a really
important function in preventing autoimmune diseases the other thing
that’s involved with autoimmune conditions are viruses and other
pathogens and it’s not agreed upon what causes these conditions however there’s
a lot of links and associations but obviously it’s something that damages
certain parts of the immune system and now what happens is we have
friendly-fire where your body is attacking itself and apparently vitamin
D actually supports these cells now one of the reasons why
sometimes you have to use high amounts of vitamin D to create this effect is
that let’s say for example this whole autoimmune condition was triggered by a
viral infection these viruses have strategies of downgrading the receptor
for vitamin D leaving you always deficient and to overcome that that
resistance you would have to consume larger amounts of vitamin D and there’s
a huge connection between a lot of autoimmune conditions even MS and a
vitamin D deficiency now one of the concerns that people will have when they
take this much vitamin D is this one condition called hypercalcemia that
means high calcium in the blood and what happens is you may develop kidney stones
of course the research isn’t definitive and there’s not a lot of studies that
say that’s going to happen but one of the things that this brazilian doctor
did was to mitigate this or lessen the risk by omitting any calcium in the diet
so it would tell the patient not to consume cheese for example or take
calcium supplements so if he wanted to lower your risk for kidney stones what
you would want to do is you want to drink at least three and a half to four
liters of fluid every single day because in that way you can prevent the urine
from being supersaturated where you develop a stone the reason I created
this video is basically to show you the relationship between vitamin D and your
immune system and potentially even the possibility of keeping an autoimmune
condition in remission with something natural like vitamin D if you haven’t
seen my video on MS and vitamin D I’m gonna put it up right now check it out

Could vitamin D be a potential natural solution to keeping autoimmune conditions like myasthenia gravis in remission?

Timestamps

2:48 What about hypercalcemia?

Today we’re going to talk about an interesting case study that was done by a Brazilian doctor working with a patient who had myasthenia gravis.

Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease. An autoimmune disease is where you have what they call autoantibodies that are against your own tissues. This particular autoimmune disease attacks the connection between your nerves and your muscles. This creates a lot of muscle problems.

One of the treatments commonly used for this condition is steroids. But, unfortunately, there are a lot of side effects when you take steroids.

This doctor used between 80,000 and 120,000 IUs of vitamin D3 and was able to put this patient’s symptoms in remission.

Vitamin D is hormone-like and acts as a steroid without the side-effects. It also supports the T regulatory cells, which is a part of the immune system that helps prevent autoimmune diseases.

There is a huge connection with a lot of autoimmune diseases and vitamin D deficiency. But, one of the concerns people have with taking high doses of vitamin D is a condition called hypercalcemia. This is high calcium in the blood, which could potentially lead to kidney stones. To lessen this risk, the doctor told the patient to omit calcium from the diet. Drinking 3.5-4 liters of fluid a day could also potentially help lessen the risk of kidney stones.

Autoimmune Mysteries Revealed

Autoimmune Mysteries Revealed

Autoimmune Mysteries Revealed

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with Autoimmune Mysteries Revealed?

hey dr. Berg here again in this video we’re going to talk about autoimmune conditions it’s a very complex situation for most people there’s there’s basically autoimmune is the body is developing antibodies which are things immune wise that attack your own tissue so it’s kind of like having an allergy to your own tissues so if you had autoimmune of the thyroid gland it would call it be called Hashimoto’s where the your cells your immune cells are killing off your own thyroid in there creating inflammation or if you have another type of thyroid condition it’s called Graves where your body is attacking itself or sarcoidosis where your body’s has antibodies against your lungs or you have MS multiple sclerosis where you have antibodies against your own nervous system or lupus against the connective tissue and your in your body or rheumatoid arthritis you have enemies against your own joints or Cushing’s you have antibodies against your own adrenal glands so I want to just kind of take this complex problem and dissect it one of the things that I do for complex problems is I’ll take one piece of the problem and I’ll try to figure it out and then usually that will help me look at other areas of the problem so we eventually the whole thing could be understandable so all I want to take one little piece of the autoimmune and try to understand it more so let’s just take one point about the autoimmune conditions if you take any oven any autoimmune conditions which i’ve had hundreds and hundreds of people come in with autoimmune conditions and it always ask them when did it start to get the clue and they always tell me it happened after a stress event and I found it very interesting usually after a loss of a loved one a divorce a severe injury a loss of a job so so it’s it’s definitely triggered by a stress thing okay so stress can activate autoimmune I’ve never found a condition where they didn’t have some something like that and losses are a thousand times more stressful than any physical trauma that could ever be that’s why people can get stuff stuck in a loss for many many years and grieve and grieve and cry and things like that so it’s very very very stressful okay now number two how our autoimmune disease is treated well one of the most common treatment they use is cortisol or prednisone what is that that’s adrenal hormones so now we have two situations we got stress and what’s treated with the adrenal hormones what is what what Glen the stress effect on the body of the adrenals so really those losses those stressful events severely damaged the adrenal gland the treatment for autoimmune is adrenal hormones well right there now we’re starting to unravel this mystery and make this a little bit less complex now let’s get into because the autoimmune conditions are immune related let’s take a look at what controls your munis tum’ what parts of your body well you have the thymus gland you have the spleen you have the bone marrow you have the gut but did you know the adrenal gland controls the immune system as well yeah the adrenal gland controls the white blood cells in fact I’m reading right now biological actions of the adrenal hormone cortisol it says that the adrenal glands release antibodies from the from the lymph nodes and they create a decrease if they’re the Drina glands are over working they will create an overall decrease in anybody production interesting and also when you have a dysfunctional adrenal you will lose the barriers to the immune system and it makes your body more susceptible that’s interesting so based on these three things autoimmune conditions are really adrenal situations even though they affect the and tissues so when people have Hashimoto’s for example they’ll start treating the thyroid but they never look at the adrenal they never look at the stress part of this when I think about adrenal I’m really thinking just think about stress accumulation of stress in the body so I think really what causes autoimmune is the stress state which then causes the adrenal gland to dysfunction and causes a loss of control of the immune system because it lowers your susceptibility and all sorts of things can happen when you do that because you have no more barriers to the immune system so you could have microbes come out viruses come out of remission and just hammer that gland and you can have all sorts of dysfunctional things so that’s my two cents on what causes autoimmune now what I’m going to recommend for you if you have an autoimmune condition is do an experiment on yourself talk with your doctor in and start to go in the direction of improving your own body stress and just see what happens to your condition see if you could put this condition back in remission because a lot of these conditions can go in remission which means they’re more viral start to do things to improve stress rather than treat the condition directly with drugs and things like that just my recommendation you don’t have to do it but I’m just telling you that I’ve seen good success with instead of treating the condition reducing the stress state changing the environment doing things to get over that loss of a loved one and you may find that these conditions greatly improve okay so I hope that helped you I will see you in the next video
