New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with Drink Apple Cider Vinegar to USE Fat More EFFICIENTLY (fat adaptation)?

we want to get fat adapted fat adaptation means that our cells are using fats better okay it means that our cells know how to rev up the machinery to metabolize and process fats better as a fuel source the more fat adaptation that we have the more likely we are to .

Utilize fats as fuel it's definitely beneficial so now we see that acetic acid which is the primary component in apple cider vinegar may activate the primary switch that allows us to get fat adapted meaning we might be able to get there faster this is epic news hey after this video check out today's sponsor which is .

Thrive market thrive market's an online membership based grocery store if you've watched my channel for a while you know i've been talking about them for years okay they're where i get all of my pantry staples these days or almost all of my pantry staples i order from thrive shows up in my doorstep within a couple of days and i've got all my keto .

Essentials for my kind of lifestyle but if you're paleo if you're vegan whatever you're doing you can find things for you just by checking the box it's like an all-in-one stop it's easy so anyhow there's a link down below that'll save you 25 off your first order plus you get a free gift when you go through that link down below so big thank you to .

Thrive for supporting this channel making this content possible and thanks to you for checking them out so it all comes down to am pk okay ampk is the energy sensor in our body okay so what that means is if you were doing uh keto or if you were fasting or if you were exercising your body would say okay .

There's no glucose or we have a decline in glucose that's available it's decreasing that means we need to release fuels to keep this person live right so ampk is like the signal for that ampk is sitting there monitoring our body saying uh wait a minute that person's exercising and their glucose is dropping hey quick liver release glucose hey .

Quick muscles release glucose or if they're fasting hey quick body start releasing lipids release fat from the tissue because this person is not eating so it's kind of like the messenger but it's also the signal it's i mean or really just like the sensor okay well apple cider vinegar or acetic acid main component of it can .

Drive up ampk in fact in a study that was published in biochemical and biophysical research communications in an in vitro study they found that rat hepatocytes so liver cells from rats that were treated with acetic acid within one hour there was a 40 increase in phosphorylation of ampk so what that means is a 40 increase in the body .

Saying we need to release fuels we want the body to release fuels okay it's the idea of fat burning right we want the body to say we don't need this fat on our body release it so ampk when we're hungry in between meals fasting whatever that's going to drive that up so a 40 increase in phosphorylation of ampk even in an in vitro study gets me pretty .

Excited but then when you start looking at some pathways of what it can do it's even more fascinating one of the potential ways that it was doing this was by increasing fatty acid utilization but also decreasing lipogenesis so that means that it was potentially decreasing the amount of fat that could get stored and increasing the amount of fats that .

Were liberated well when ampk is activated acutely pretty strong or for a long enough period of time it activates something called p-p-a-r alpha now if you watch a lot of my content you're already familiar with it but i'll just break it down real quick ppar alpha is a nuclear receptor protein and when that protein is .

Activated it travels to the center of a cell and it travels to the command center to the nucleus of a cell and it says hey cell get better at using fats because i'm here now and i'm the fat guy so it comes into the middle of the cell it says get better at using fats so when we activate ppar .

We are potentially making ourselves much more of a fat burning machine what this does is additionally it increases what's called carnitine palmitoyl transferase one carnitine pulmonary transferase two it increases what's called cd36 which is like a lipid transporter so it doesn't just help the cell use and burn fat it helps the whole process in between what .

Carries the fat what carries the fat across the membrane what gets the fat into the mitochondria to be utilized properly is you know acetyl coenzyme a it is a very fascinating process but what about fat adaptation well in order to get fat adapted you need to have ppar alpha activated for prolonged periods of time a quick activation of ppar alpha is .

Great but that doesn't really mean that your body is developing the mitochondrial machinery to over the long term be better at using fats for lack of a better term you want to be marinating your cells in fat you want to be you want them to really get conditioned the longer and the more efficiently that they use fats the .

Better and more likely that they will use them in the future so consistent use of apple cider vinegar can help increase that am pk level but also make it so that if you're doing like a lower carb protocol you might have a little bit more flexibility with your carbohydrates or if you're fasting you might be able to get to that fat adaptation phase a .

Little bit faster this is very groundbreaking stuff when you start looking at how this research works with ppar alpha and ampk very fascinating and could be a game changer for some people it doesn't mean that apple cider vinegar is absolutely like magic but it means that we do need to start investigating different things that activate ppar and .

Also things that drive up ampk and if that 40 increase in the in vitro setting applies to humans even half of what that is i am all in so anyway as always keep it locked in here on my channel in case you're wondering for the specific use case i would take apple cider vinegar in the morning and apple cider vinegar .

Before bed and then try finding different ways to implement and use a straw save the teeth see you tomorrow

After Eating Carbs – Drink Apple Cider Vinegar!

New To Keto But Want To Grow Your Knowledge?

More specifically, you want help with After Eating Carbs – Drink Apple Cider Vinegar!?

you would think by most of the stuff that's out there that apple cider vinegar is helping aid in digestion and in a lot of ways it is but it's actually in some wrap around ways slowing down digestion that makes it so you could potentially enjoy more carbs so what i want to focus on is apple cider .

Vinegar's interplay with carbohydrate consumption not from a glucose modulation perspective but actually from a little bit more of what happens in the way of digestive enzymes it's very fascinating so if you have apple cider vinegar along with your carbohydrates keep doing it if you haven't done it yet it's not a bad idea to implement whether .

You're using a capsule or a liquid so let's break it down i want you to check out today's video sponsor which is thrive market you've probably seen them a lot on my channel they're an online membership based grocery store so you can go online you can just filter by exactly what you're after if you're after ketogenic if you're after paleo .

Fasting vegan whatever it is you're after you can sort by that and then you can filter it down even more and then you order everything gets delivered to your doorstep within a couple of days it has revolutionized how my family does shopping at least for our pantry plus you can get some pretty awesome .

Sustainable meat and seafood as well so i put a link down below you can save 25 off your first order and select a free gift when you use that link down below in the description so big thank you to thrive market now let's rock so the international journal of pharmacology published a fascinating study that kind of like got me thinking about this okay .

It was done in rats but it was still very intriguing so for four weeks they gave these rats apple cider vinegar what they found is that the digestive activity changed the activity of maltese sucrase and lactase in their guts decreased sounds so wild because people talk about how apple cider vinegar is going to .

Improve digestion and it is in a lot of weird ways but it's still decreasing the activity of these disaccharides now the whole idea behind this is these three compounds that the activity is decreased well they are disaccharides that ultimately break down into monosaccharides or help carbohydrates break down into monosaccharides so when .

These disaccharides aren't able to reduce they're essentially not turning into a simpler sugar i.e glucose so less activity from maltese sucrase and lactase means that carbohydrates are breaking down slower and they're not getting broken down into as simple of a sugar meaning less of a blood glucose .

Spike but also slower absorption that means more satiety that means less blood sugar you know spike more modulation there that means probably less like feeling hungry throughout the course of the day so when you look at how this works in terms of the mechanistic actions it's very very phenomenal okay well now let's touch on .

One other thing that has to do with carbohydrates there was a study that was published in the journal of biochemistry and biophysical research communications and it looked at a bunch of different things it was looking once again at rats but it was looking at an in vitro arm and an in vivo arm meaning they looked in petri dish studies and in the actual .

Body studies well it was interesting because they found that okay well yeah glucose modulation did take effect but what were some of the actions well one of the actions was that acetic acid again the primary constituent of apple cider vinegar in this particular case that we're focusing on actually improved glute4 translocation .

In the periphery tissues what the heck does that mean that means that glucose was utilized better in the tissues at the cell it meant that glut4 which normally is a glucose transfer that lives inside of a cell was able to translocate to the surface of a cell and glut4 is like a big net for glucose so when it's inside the cell .

Glucose just goes rushing by keeping blood glucose relatively high okay but when glut4 can actually translocate it goes to the surface of a cell and it catches the glucose and brings it in so how is acetic acid doing this well acetic acid acv whatever it's doing it through a pretty complex nitric oxide synthase pathway pretty complex nitric .

Oxide pathway that honestly is just still getting discovered but the bottom line is there's a potential improvement in how the tissues and the cells are using glucose so what does that mean well that means when you are potentially eating carbohydrates that maybe those sugars those carbohydrates get taken up by the cell better rather than .

Contributing to higher levels of glucose and then circulating and potentially leading to more body fat storage right so apple cider vinegar may really play a strong role if you want to consume it with carbohydrates again if you're not going overboard or maybe if you're having a cheat meal and you want to just kind of lessen the potential .

Impact a little bit more it's something to consider because the research is pretty darn solid anyhow as always keep it locked and here my channel and i'll see you tomorrow

Let’s talk about foot and leg cramps at night, also known as nocturnal cramps. Nocturnal cramps can be very painful and even prevent you from sleeping.

Unfortunately, the cause of nocturnal cramps is unknown. But, a potential cause could be an electrolyte imbalance—a deficiency in electrolytes, such as magnesium, calcium, potassium, or sodium. But, sometimes, people will take electrolytes without noticing much of a difference.

Another potential cause could be a problem with your pH. If your body is too alkaline, you won’t be able to transport minerals properly. This can create a lot of different problems, including cramping. In this case, you could try just acidifying the body.

Potential remedies for leg and foot cramps at night:
1. Quinine (the natural version: cinchona officinalis, or tonic water)

2. Yellow mustard (1 tbsp. before bed)

3. Apple cider vinegar (2 tbsp. mixed in water about an hour before bed)

1:25 Why does apple cider vinegar lower blood sugar
2:42 Share your success story!

There are many reasons why you would want to take apple cider vinegar before bed. In this video, we’re going to focus on what taking apple cider vinegar before bed can do for your blood sugars.

Acetic acid is the main acid in apple cider vinegar, and it’s very anti-glycemic. This means it may help reduce your blood sugars after a meal. Acetic acid may also help reduce your blood sugars in the morning.

Normally, your blood sugars should be low in the morning. There is something called the dawn phenomenon or down effect, where your blood sugars are higher in the morning. This is because the high blood sugar isn’t coming from your diet. It’s coming from your liver.

Your liver is making extra glucose from protein, fat, and ketones. This is called gluconeogenesis. This could be caused by a problem with the blood sugars like insulin resistance, prediabetes, or diabetes.

How apple cider vinegar (acetic acid) can potentially help lower your blood sugars:
• It blocks enzymes that break down starches
• It reduces the liver’s production of gluconeogenesis
• It can make insulin more sensitive (may help improve insulin resistance, hyperglycemic, and hypoglycemia)
