Today let’s talk about why you might feel worse after taking apple cider vinegar.

There are two main reasons why you might feel worse after taking apple cider vinegar:
1. You have an ulcer
2. You have gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining)

What you could do:
1. Zinc carnosine (50mg 3x per day)
2. Chlorophyll
3. Cabbage
4. DGL-licorice
5. Probiotics

Let’s say you have gastritis, an ulcer, and SIBO. This complicates things. SIBO occurs when there are good bacteria in the wrong place. The last thing you want to do is add probiotics or fiber (cabbage) in this situation. The best thing to do in this situation may be to do carnivore for a while and fasting. Fasting may actually help the most.

As you reduce the symptoms from gastritis or an ulcer, you may want to start doing healthy keto and intermittent fasting to help prevent it from coming back again.

A few potential benefits of apple cider vinegar:
• It has potential benefits for your blood sugars
• It may help with insulin resistance
• It may help with digestion

The best time to take apple cider vinegar is before a meal, but a lot of people take it in the morning and at night. You can mix at least 1 tbsp. of ACV in a glass of water, or you can get a powder or tablet ( you may want to take 4-5 tablets). You can also add betaine hydrochloride for additional help.

Today we’re going to talk about apple cider vinegar vs. distilled white vinegar. Does it matter which one you take? 

Apple cider vinegar:
• 5-6% acetic acid
• Source: raw apples
• 1 tbsp has 11mg of potassium 
• Certain types have the “mother” which has a tiny bit of bacteria, fiber, and enzymes 

White vinegar 
• 4-7% acetic acid 
• Source: barley, corn, sugar, potato, milk whey, grains
• Great cleanser 

Which is better? It relates to the source. Organic apples are much better than the sources of white vinegar. Apple cider vinegar also has additional benefits that white vinegar doesn’t have. But, the effects of distilled white vinegar and apple cider vinegar are going to be very similar. However, because the sources of white vinegar are low-quality, I would say that apple cider vinegar is a better choice.

Today we’re going to talk about why apple cider vinegar works for muscle cramps or muscle spasms. Many times when a person has muscle cramps, they usually increase their electrolytes. In many cases, that will work. But, if it doesn’t work, you may want to try apple cider vinegar. 

In the tendon, you have a little receptor called the Golgi tendon organ. This receptor picks up information from the load of the muscle. There’s information being sent from the muscle based on tension that’s being picked up by this tendon. The information is then carried through the nervous system, to the spinal collum, up to the brain, then to associated muscles, and back to the receptor. 

There is a lot of control over the muscle dynamic from the nervous system and the receptors. There are certain chemical compounds that you need that communicate between the muscles and the nerve. One of the big ones is acetylcholine. Apple cider vinegar can actually contribute to the formation of acetylcholine. 

We need electrolytes, which are electrically charged minerals for the electrical part of this problem. We need acetylcholine, which is a neurotransmitter, to allow that to work.

Also, if your pH is too alkaline, you may get muscle cramping. One remedy for cramping would be to acidify the body. 

Pickle juice and kombucha tea may help acidify the body. But, apple cider vinegar may work even better because it may help increase acetylcholine.

You can dilute apple cider by mixing one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in an 8-12 oz. glass of water. Consider drinking this mixture a couple of times a day.
